Verbatim 4.7GB 16X DVD+R Single Jewel Case Media Model 94916

Verbatim 94916 is a single 4.7GB DVD+R disc rated for writing at up to 16X and packaged in a jewel case, suited to users with a compatible DVD burner who need to record or store data on one disc.

Recommended For

• PC users with a DVD+R-compatible burner who need to make a one-time copy of up to 4.7GB of files, photos, or other data.
• People distributing a small, finalized set of files or home-video content on physical media to someone with a compatible DVD drive or player.
• Users who need a single blank disc for a one-off burn and prefer an individual jewel case for storage or handoff.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When you want an offline copy of up to 4.7GB of files, burn them to the disc for one-time storage; the recorded contents cannot be erased or updated, so make a new disc to change the files.
• To share home movies with someone who uses a DVD player, create a DVD-Video disc rather than simply copying video files onto it; playback depends on the player supporting DVD+R, and the disc can hold up to about two hours of DVD-quality video.
• For a small PC backup, copy selected documents, photos, or other files onto the disc as a fixed snapshot; because DVD+R is write-once, later changes need to be saved to another disc.
• When handing off a set of photos, presentations, or other files, burn them as a data disc for use in a computer with a DVD drive; this is for file access, not guaranteed playback in a standalone DVD player.
