Does the remote have a laser pointer built in?

Yes it does, one that operates the menu on the projector. I ordered the  recommended optional one for the slides on the windows based computer. This is a wonderful projector. Crazy Colors so amazing you will not believe.

What is the throw distance?

It's basically 1:1, for example my screen is 144" (12 feet)  diagonally and my projector sits 12 feet from the wall. The zoom is pretty minimal, I could move it to maybe 11 feet with the zoom at max so pretty much 1 to 1 throw distance to screen size.

Can this projector be used internationally (110V-240V)?

How far away would it have to be to throw a 85-90 inch image?

This projector has a throw ratio of 1.5 and a zoom of 1.1x so a 90 inch image would be:
90 inch * 1.5 = 135 inch distance
135 inch distance / 12 inch (1 foot) = 11.25 ft with zoom at min
11.25 / 1.1(zoom) = 10.22 ft with zoom on max
