What resolutions does this projector support? We have visitors who use our conference room and different computers use different resolutions. We'd like to be able to serve as wide a berth as possible.

I've use it on both 1080p and 720p using an AppleTV on HDMI. I haven't used any other resolution or connection but I have been very happy with it.

Can this projector accept 1080p input via the VGA input? I was disappointed that the PJB7820 only does 1080p on the HDMI input.

We normally use the HDMI cable, but yes, the VGA input supports 1080p. Since purchasing the ViewSonic Pro8300 in June of 2013 we have used it in meetings at the office and to watch movies at home. It has great resolution, even when we project it onto a wall and make a large viewing area (10'x6'). The projector is still operating with the original bulb. We are very pleased with it. If we need a second projector, I would buy this model again.
