DOES IT HAVE USB PORTS ?

Oh wait, I know this one...
Let me get to new Egg, go to the right product, click on specifications.... scroll down to connections... here it is. USB 2.0, one up and 4 down. This means that there is one uplink port (which goes from your computer to the monitor) and four USB ports that you can plug USB devices into and get USB 2.0 speeds.

Question 2

I have 2 of these side by side.  One is GREAT.  The other one has the same res, brightness, contrast, but not as crisp a rendering of every pixel everywhere in the screen.  So I began going through the OSD menus to try to make the bad one like the good, and find a lot of differences in what's grayed out.  Is there something like a firmware update?

if you have them in different type of plugs different things will be greyed out.  Get them both in display port or dvi and you will have all the same options vga is no good

How do you adjust brightness on this monitor?

Press the 1 button.  The second option is Contrast/Brightness.  Use the arrow buttons to move and then press the 2 button when it is highlighted to select.  Use arrows/2 and select brightness, adjust accordingly, and press 1 to exit.

Question 4

I purchaed the VG2732M LED and would like to know if there is a slim profile monitor arm/bas? Or an Articuating arm available for this model so we don't have to mount it on a wall?

There are many monitor arms to choose from.
Just make sure that they have the 100mm x 100mm VESA mount.
