Pros: All.
Cons: Nothing peculiar.
Overall Review: The first day I had this monitor, I was really near to return it back because of the whole visual aspect of the colors and images on the screen. Now, a couple of days after, I really find its visuals awesome. Why this so complete change ? I think that there are maybe two different reasons for it. First, I think that a monitor, like many other things, any motor engine for example, needs to be breaked in before it gives its best. Second, I think that our eyes has to get sufficiently accustomed to the new monitor, even more so if this monitor is of a different technology than the one we got to use before. So, if you are near to throw away your new monitor in the first hours, take your time, wait a couple of days, things may change for the best. If things doesn't change, buy this Newegg's item that will surely solve the problem to the best of your satisfaction and relief : https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAAYY5EJ3334&cm_re=baseball_bat-_-9SIAAYY5EJ3334-_-Product I am not a gamer, I am just surfing internet, I receive and send emails, I watch movies and YouTube videos, that's almost all. For what I do, this monitor is perfect and it is really the best one I had up to now. Because of my old eyes, I have choosen an 1600x900 resolution and this way all texts are large enough and clear. The colors are really vivid and beautiful and to view a movie on this monitor was really a brand new experience to me compared to my former monitor, the colors are almost natural and the whites are really white. But any monitor responds to this old data processing proverb : "Garbage in, garbage out". The visual qualities that the monitor will give largely depends on the quality of the source. My former monitor was from a TN technology panel and its brightness was of 300 cd/m2, this specification was one of the main reasons why I bought it at the time. When I searched for a new monitor, I began by searching general information about them and that is where I learned about the different panel's technologies (TN, IPS, VA and PLS). After I read all this information, I decided to buy an IPS monitor which was the most adapted technology for my needs. But, in the moderate priced IPS monitors, almost all had a brightness of 250 cd/m2 : I was first afraid it won't be enough bright for me. But I read many comments about the VX2376-SMHD model where people were saying that they lowered down the brightness because it was too bright at 100%. With these reassuring comments and with all the other laudatory comments about this monitor, I decided to buy it after having compared it with many others. I am really glad that I have bought this one. The brightness is sufficient enough, I leave it at 100%, but I manage to reduce it by the use of a free software called SunsetScreen (http://www.skytopia.com/software/sunsetscreen/). This software allows for a day mode and a night mode and actually I use these settings : Day Mode (Color : 6500K, Brightness : 80%), Night Mode (Color : 5750K, Brightness : 80%). I have read some comments saying that this monitor was very relaxing for the eyes : it is true, it is really better than my former monitor. Almost any product gets an average of "lemons" of about 10%, you know, those products that were fabricated on a monday morning... (That is why the monday working hours should go from 1 PM to 4 PM only but with a full day wages). If you are lucky enough to receive a monitor that belongs to the 90% group and if you do about the same things that I do with my computer, you should be very satisfied with this monitor, if your'e not a heavy gamer needing a very fast response time (1-2 ms) for accurate details in the very fast actions, but I must say that I didn't really verified how this , or any other having the same response time, acts like in the fast action games, I really don't know if it is that bad.
Pros: -The monitor is very slim and the bezel is very thin. -It comes w/ all the parts as described. -It's a very good looking monitor w/ a lot of features and settings for you to choose from. -The built-in speakers are pretty good for what I need.
Cons: -Minus one egg because there are no direct Source/Input and Volume control buttons like other monitors that I have. -The buttons are not labeled w/ words, only symbols.
Overall Review: -I might be wrong...the monitor is not VESA mountable like what it says in the description. I don't see it on the back of the monitor. It's not mentioned in the manual.
Pros: I have migraines and one of the triggers is the eyestrain caused by computer flicker. I bought this monitor hoping it would help me use a computer without pain and it works! I still have to small breaks and switch to white text on a black background as much as possible but my migraines have lessened by a lot. If you are having similar issues, I HIGHLY recommend a monitor like this.
Cons: So far I haven't seen any drawbacks to this monitor.
Pros: Beautiful colors, love the small bezel. Easy to setup.
Cons: Box does not come with displayport cable had to receive the screens and didn't notice that there would not be any so went to the store to buy 2 new one bundling them together would be helpful :)
Overall Review: A+. Minus a star because I was missing the cables
Pros: 1) Beautiful, crisp display 2) Easy to access ports....I hate those monitor ports where the plugs are recessed and facing up. 3) Sturdy stand. Not wobbly and very well made.
Cons: 1) Wish Display Port cable came with.....Hey, the VGA, HDMI, and a sound cable were provided, why not top it off with the Display Port Cable?
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this monitor for anyone, who like myself was wanting a good, budget 24-inch monitor. I bought this to replace my HP 19-inch monitor I've had since about 2005.
Pros: Very nice display. Light and thin. Very easy to setup.
Cons: The speakers are not very good. No bass at all. Not very loud based on the volume settings.
Overall Review: Overall, great display, terrible speakers.
Overall Review: Buy this for the display which is very nice. The speaker, however is disappointing. I searched for a long time for a monitor with decent built in speakers. Thought I found one with this. But no such luck.
Pros: -Affordable
Cons: -Dead pixel after 5 months -Makes loud cracking noises for an hour after you turn it off -Warranty doesn't work unless over "three (3) improperly operating pixels and no more than two (2) bright or two (2) dark pixels"
