Is this true stereo?

yes it is true stereo, and it sounds good, But its design limits wide imaging, like bookshelf speakers, But set it on a table, and put a solid object on a slight angle to the side speakers
and wow, the stereo imaging steps up and the sound is stunning. 
I now have a piece of cardboard  curved like a U behind it and it throws out the stereo 
image and rocks ! Try it with 3 DOG NIGHT,  " Jeremiah Was a Bull Frog :" .

width -  2&15/16th  inches
height - 2 inches
depth, front to rear -  2 inches
works great, louder and clearer than my tablet and phone.
