It has an input for cable TV. Not sure what you are referring to by "pot?. Great TV for the prize. Excellent sound. Easy to configure (lots of simple settings). Comparable to Panasonic. Better than recent Toshiba. Nice simple stand and very thin.

The entire set is 25.25" wide X17" high X 2.375" thick (at the base). The perimeter is a little less than an inch thick, but gets thicker in the middle. (Probably to the 2.375" thickness at the bottom.) The screenitself is 22.625" wide X 12.75" high.
