Does this mean that item Model #SB4051-C0 is an A grade product and is in the highest condition possible for refurbished products, mean it does not have any dents in it?

I don't know how Newegg defines it but the one I purchased had a big dent in the center channel grill and what looked like food imbedded in the grill of one of the surround speakers. When I called Vizio they said they had nothing to do with refurbishing these units and Newegg said the same.  Newegg did offer to RMA it but by the time I got back from traveling for work the RMA had expired. I own two Vizio TV's, one a 4K and two Vizio sound bars. Good products but after the we have nothing to do with it game Vizio played with the last soundbar I am going back to Samsung. Hope this helps.

Did you receive a package in good condition?  I noticed reviewers saying that the sound bar was dented, damaged, and that he rear speakers were damaged.  I'm concerned that all of these refurbished units might be considerably damaged.

Everything arrived well packaged and in good order. Physically the unit looked brand new. Ive only been using it for a few weeks and am having issues with the bass and surround cutting out at random times. That MAY have to do with the new Vizio TV I bought at the same time and not the sound bar itself. Im still in trial and error mode trying to figure that out. That issue does seem to be a settings and connection issue and not something with the unit itself so I feel like I will solve the problem. All that said, when it is working correctly (which is 99% of the time) it sounds great! It looks great as well. Particularly for the price point and ease of setup Im very happy with the system.

Model #SB4051-C0.  I bought it refurbished and love that the bass box is wireless from the bar for rear placement but the two rear speakers are wired to the bass box which nevertheless worked for me.

will this work on 39" insignia tv ?

Short answer, yes.

"Works" depends on what you want out of it and what audio sources you have/want.  You can hook up your TV/STB in a number of ways including digital signals over optical and coax (required for true surround sound) and analog audio using RCA and 2.5mm (headphone style connector).

This system, however, has a great function called HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), which requires a TV that also has the capability.  HDMI ARC allows all audio that would normally come out of your TV to be redirected to the soundbar over HDMI in its original digital form.  It does this even if the HDMI connection is also being used as the video source for the TV.  What this means is that you can run all of your devices to your TV (Cable, Media Player, Gaming System, BluRay, etc) and simply by changing the source input on your TV, the audio will be "changed" on the sound bar.  Additionally, the volume up/down/mute commands from your TV remote are send via the HDMI data channel to the sound bar, so you don't really ever have to use the remote for the sound bar.

WAF (Wife Acceptability Factor) is very high with this unit.

That said, in order to take full advantage of this and other newer sound systems, you need a TV capable of HDMI ARC.  Without the specific make/model, I can't advise, but looking at Insignia's website, it does not look good.  Sorry.

It comes with all the cables, just very short and cheaply made ones.  I didn't use any of them in my setup.

Has anyone purchased this 'refurbished' product and found it to be in good condition?  I've noticed that reviewers said their purchases arrived damaged (but working).
