Can I use this tripod with a camera?
Yes. The ST102 supports lightweight cameras such as mirrorless cameras and action cameras via the universal 1/4" screw mount. It is not designed for heavy DSLR cameras or professional camera rigs.
Is it stable enough for outdoor use?
The ST102 performs best on flat, stable surfaces. The 4-leg quadrapod base and anti-slip rubber feet provide solid stability for everyday outdoor content creation on even ground. It is not designed for rough or uneven terrain.
Does it work with a phone case on?
Yes. The snap-release clamp fits phones 2.2 to 3.7 inches wide, which accommodates most smartphones with standard cases. Very bulky or oversized cases may affect fit.
Is the remote battery rechargeable?
No. The remote uses a CR2032 coin cell battery, which is not rechargeable but typically lasts 2 to 3 years under normal use. When it runs out, simply replace it with a new CR2032, available at most stores worldwide.
How do I extend the tripod to its full 71-inch height?
The pole has 7 extension sections — pull each one out fully, using a bit of extra force if needed. Stopping partway through any section means it won't reach the full 71 inches. Extend all 7 sections completely for max height.
