For Laptops without USB-C ports You can use this docking station as a high performance tools to make your application, as we had offered the USB-C to USB-A cable in the package. This cable is not for power delivery but only for transferring date, if you need to charge your latop, please connect it to the original power adapter. For Laptops own USB-C ports As you know, USB-C charging function and Alternate Mode ("Alt Mode") video output not supported on all USB-C systems.

Mac macOS High Sierra needs attention:
1, Since macOS High Sierra 10.13, the user has to explicitly enable this system extension in the Security & Privacy system preference after installation and before the DisplayLink software is allowed to run.
2, macOS Catalina 10.15 requires the user to permit "Screen Recording" in order for DisplayLink devices to work properly.
