Does this come with a remote?

Yes, comes with remote that you can use.   The Wifi allows you to access the Internet, and play video directly from Youtube or other sources.    It can interface with Hulu or NetFlix.....

It's a great box......dependable and stable.   You will not regret the purchase.    Can attach two USB devices, or configure it for Shared media on the LAN.

Does this include the remote?

There is a WDTV remote app that turns any iphone, ipad, android phone or tablet into a wifi remote.  The only downside is if you have multiple units, you can accidentally set to the wrong unit and control it remotely from an entirely different room! Unique names and paying attention helps.

Question 3

Is this the newest version out or should I be looking for something newer ?

The refurbished model  is Gen 3.

Pro: Gen 3 has support for DTS, but Gen 4 does not.

Con: Gen 3 and Gen 4 have encrypted firmware, preventing use of custom firmware.

Conclusion: My Gen 3 device has issues picking up the wired DHCP network IP, and since the firmware is encrypted, I can't hack my way into the root prompt which would allow me analyze the problem. As it is, my Gen 3 device is a brick.

Does it have the mirroring options avalable? So I can use it in cunjunction with my samsung galaxy to mirror it on to my HD tv

I have no idea. So far, it has been useless to me. Says it will play movies but when you try to play a movie from my files, it says there is no video player. DUH! I should have never bought it!

Just wondering what all comes with this.
Does it include the Composite Cable and power adapter etc... ??

I've ordered two and both came with power adapters but only the yellow, red, white standard RCA cables. Newegg offers cheap HDMI cables so not really a big deal ;)
