I have Nokia lumia 1020 windows phone. Will the ravpower delue 14000mah work ?

After checking the specs of your phone I can safely say that yes, this will work perfectly with your phone. The 2amp output port will charge your phone very quickly without "frying" the phone. 
I use mine almost every single day when I can't be near an outlet with my Samsung Galaxy S4. It works perfectly! 
I even went away for a weekend and forgot my wall charger but had this fully charged in my car. Lasted me the entire weekend with juice to spare.

I highly recommend this product to everyone who asked about it when they see me using it.

Question 2

Does this device automatic shut off when unplug the usb cable or we have to turn the switch off so the unit doesn't discharge by itself? Thanks

For the sake of a simple answer: Yes. 
More complicated response: I'm not sure how it works, exactly. If you remove a usb cable while it is charging it doesn't shut off immediately, because if you plug the cable right back in it will continue charging without having to push the power button. However, once the cable is removed it doesn't keep discharging and the device does shut off after some time period (5-10 minutes, perhaps?)

Does this come with a 30 pin for iPhone 4s ?

Yes it does. But you can also use your own as it's a standard USB on the battery pack itself. So you can use apple cable.

Also to note, because it has so much capacity it's on a heavy side vs. a 3,000 battery pack. But I guess it's a good problem to have. I bought about a month ago and had not had a chance to try it but it feels very sturdy and not cheap.

It has adapters to work with many android phones and also works with many iphones.  I have the galaxy s4 and it works with my phone.

Question 5

How long will this hold a charge before having to recharge it? I will probably just keep as an emergency back-up and am wanting something that will stay charged for at least 2-3 months if not used.

Unlike regular batteries (NiCad) which store best at fully charged, Lithium Ion batteries should be stored for extended periods when having only a half charged state. If you are going to be using it once a week or so then you would want to charge it when it drops a little. this battery won't develop a "memory" like a NiCad so you can always keep it topped off without putting it through a total discharge. As a matter of fact, draining it completely could very easily damage it beyond recovery. I've used this type of battery for years in my R/C planes and cars and am very familiar with their use and handling.
