I use this phone for straight talk and it works great. The Samsung galaxy note SWGH -I 717 is the best phone that I have ever owned. It is an unlocked phone but I can tell you for sure if it will work on T-Mobile. But I see no reason why it shouldn't. If T-Mobile will allow you to use it. I pay $45 on straight talk and I get Internet and everything per month and it all works just great. Everything I have to say about the Samsung galaxy phone is positive

Yes you can use this phone on T-Mobile. AT&T is on the same network as T-Mobile. I'm on T-Mobile and bought this phone. It has worked amazingly well.

I currently have a Note on AT&T.  It will not charge any more.  If I purchase this phone can I just move my sim card and keep using my AT&T plan?

That should work just fine, because it is unlocked and uses the AT&T frequencies.  I don't have direct experience with AT&T itself, but I have moved my Net10 SIM card (which uses AT&T behind the scenes) from one of these unlocked SGH-I717 to another spare unlocked unit, and the spare phone behaved as my main phone, ringing when I called my cell phone number.

I was able to do just this. I bought the AT&T unlocked version of this very phone in the US and then moved to Switzerland. I'm able to use a SIM card here no problem. I think you should check into this further for your specific country and provider though to make sure.

this phone takes mini sim card and micro sd card.. google up if you don't know sim card sizes.. mini sim card is the pre-smart phone era standard sim size, then micro & nano sims came after..

I bought this unlocked phone and it works great never had a problem .. I'm using it now . When you open the box the phone looked brand  new. . I  don't know about using it in India ..  but as long as they have good cell towers I  think u shouldn't have a problem ..   Hope this helps you ..

Yes, mine was unlocked.  There is no obligation to have a contract unless you want one.  T-Mobile and MetroPCS will both work with this phone if you want to avoid a contract.  You might need to purchase a SIM card but they are inexpensive and the people working in the store will install it for you if you take it to a retail T-Mobile store (or any carrier that uses a GSM network, which are most of them these days).  There's a 30 day warranty and that is it.

as far as i know this phone works great with simple mobile, why not with Metro PCS? and 284.99 price is good deal...i bought mine 349.00 about 9 month ago
