XFX PVT88GYDD4 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: Everything I wanted, everything I read here. 2 of these in SLI on an XFX 780i board. SMOKING! I upgraded from an AGP ATI 3850 card which is the fastest AGP card on the market. My Aquamark3 score went from 75,000 to 190,000 with these babies. I can play Age of Conan with EVERYTHING MAXXED OUT as high as you can set it. 16AF-8AA, Maxingame, with 50FPS in towns and 140FPS outdoors. WOOT!

Cons: Nothing... I havent even overclocked these although they have some headroom, just smoking fast already!

Overall Review: Highly reccomend 2 of these in SLI with an XFX 780i board and E8400 CPU.

Pros: This card rocks!! It plays any game I throw at it with ease. The fan is VERY quiet. Card looks killer & comes with C.O.D 4!! Buy it, you won't be disappointed!!

Cons: The card is huge but fit in my Chenming full tower pretty easy. Can't think of anything else.

Overall Review: I am playing UT3, FEAR & HL2 with settings maxed out @ 1680x1050. This card is a beast. Why spend the $ on a GTX or Ultra when this card is so much cheaper!?

Pros: Very similiar to the 9800GTX, which to me is a joke that they would release such a card. Crysis runs at avg 45fps at 1680x1050 on ultra high settings with two of these.

Cons: I paid 100$ more for it 2 months ago on newegg, meaning I paid more for this than what the new 9800GTX costs.

Overall Review: With technology, your wallet never wins...

Pros: This monster of a graphics card will ripp through any game right now. I crank UT3 all Maxed!, with AAx16 (filtering), and AAx16Q (alliasing) And its still tears it up, i could play any game i own on the highest settings possible, litterally!

Cons: The only slight con is that it has 512MB or memory instead of 768 or 1GB. Non-the-less, dont get me wrong, this beastly 512 is a perfect match for the power, very sweet platform. So not really a bad con.

Overall Review: This this has alooot of overclocking potential. I easly sqeezed off good oc's real quick without breaking a sweat, the thing is the real deal, throw down the money and start ripping heads off, this a a hardcore fraggers card!

Pros: Amazing cooler, temps are much lower than my previous MSI8800GT with a zalman cooler, even after I applied arcticSilver5 to it. Fan is seriously powerful, puts out as much air as any 80mm case fan or more. Very very fast and tons of "horsepower" available when you need it for online multiplayer. Looks fantastic in my windowed case.

Cons: Really I'd be insulting this card if I put anything here. This card is the pinnacle of 8800 series cards IMO. The GTX and Ultra are a joke when you can compare the same scores and performance by a simple N-Tune session. This card scored higher in 3Dmark06 Professional than my business partner's system build including a X4Phenom 9850BE OC to 2.9Ghz, 4Gb of DDR2-800 OCZ Reaper 4-4-4-12 1T, and a EVGA 9800GTX. That system pulled a 5602 at those specs and my system: X2 5000+BE OC 3.06GHz,2GB OCZ SLI ready 4-4-4-12 1T, and this XFX 8800GTS PVT88GYDD4 pulled a 7202 at the clocks and settings listed in other thoughts section. Very good card.

Overall Review: Currently I have this clocked at 745core and 1045Memory, with this configuration I hit 8802 in 3Dmark06 Maxed at 1440x900/8xAA 2quality/16xAF. Running 100% fan is louder than you'd expect but it works so well to keep the GPU at 45C or lower,+/-2C ambient variation. I have paired this with another one but its the DF4 model#, which was a rippoff as it is a lesser performing card but was sold at $20USD more than this DD4 and didn't contain the game that made the price higher at all. This is my first major complaint against newegg in all my years of business with them. The same card is now $239 and comes with COD4, which is a far better game than Company of Heroes which I attempted to get with the card as advertised. I'll be contacting newegg shortly and will post a review of that experience here.

Pros: I bought this card to replace my 2x 8600GT's (SLI)...i purchaced only 1...and the difference is still monumental. Plays COD4 on maxed out settings, and even Crysis on High. I can't wait to purchase another to put in SLI and max out Crysis too. Really great card.

Cons: When it's chugging full on it sounds like an XBox360 (if ya know what that sounds like). Casual play wont push it hard though so it's REALLY quiet all other times :) .

Pros: Great card. Iam going to purchase one more for sli soon. with just one of these cards, a quad core q6600 and 2gigs of ram, half life 2 with every thing on max including Antialiasing runs between 120-300 fps at 1680 x 1050 on a 24 inch widesreen. cant wait to get one more for crysis.

Cons: A little big takes up two slots on my case.

Pros: This card is amazing! For anyone out there looking for a new videocard this G92 model is what ya want for power! Its a betetr chip design then older GTS and has more streams 120+ vs 112 and a natrual higher clocks. BEST bang for the buck even vs 9 series! Crysis on HIGH 68fps!

Cons: Lost Planet as a game... loud fan at higher RPM but my case has 8 fans anyway so doesnt matter for me! lol

Overall Review: If you want the best bang for the buck and want to run crysis on high get it! Its worth the 100 extra for the power! It's almost identacal to the new GTX 9 series per card when it comes to stats and power!
