80 PLUS BRONZE CertifiedThe 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
650W Continuous Power with Single Strong +12V RailThe XFX P1-650X-CAH9 delivers reliable 650W continuous output (at 50°C) for high-end computer systems. A strong +12V single rail ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to energy-hungry components such as CPU and VGA card, minimizing the likelihood of overload shut down.
Detachable Modular Cable DesignThe XFX P1-650X-CAH9 combines both fixed and detachable modular cables to improve internal airflow and reduce system cable clutter. Modular cables include two PCI-E 6+2-pin, two SATA 15-pin and two Peripheral connectors.
135mm Silent Ball Bearing FanThe 135mm ball bearing fan provides superior cooling performance to dissipate heat in the power supply enclosure while still running quietly.
SLI & CrossFireX ReadyWith one 6-pin and three 6+2-pin PCI-E connectors (two modular and one fixed), the XFX P1-650X-CAH9 allows you to build a SLI or CrossFireX gaming system.
Pros: This thing is HEAVY, very nice quality. I could use this thing to power my machine or fight off home intruders. Fan is quiet, tons of hookups for the modular cables, PCI-e connectors everywhere for the SLI fanatics.
Cons: The only thing that's kind of awkward about it is the wire bundle that's built into the PSU has 3 PCI-e connectors on it, so unless you're running SLI you're going to have a spare wire hogging up airflow space. Not enough to take off an egg, just an observation. I'm just a little OCD about my case being tidy. =)
Overall Review: I like the bag they include for the modular cables. Nice for storing your spares for later use. Rebate was also very easy to file through XFX. People complaining about the fan, I don't have that problem at all. It's been running 24/7 for 2 weeks now and not a sound.
