would a MSI Radeon r9 390 fit in this case?

I'm afraid not.  Officially, it accommodates only up to 200mm graphics cards.  The housing of the LEDs for the triangular corner light can be removed for extra space (it's not needed), but by my measure you still only have 9.5" (MAYBE up to 9.75") before you hit the wall of the case.  I don't think any R9 390 is short enough.

Question 2

I am a second time builder. Building daughter a personal PC in Small Form Factor.. For Travel/Mobility. She is not a hardcore gamer but if she does want to game a little bit I would like it to be able to run a game at a decent resolution with at least 40 FPS

My question(s)
1. Should I go APU route or discrete graphics/GPU that will fit?
2. What PSU unit(s) for this case?

I'm not the best at typing out what I'm really trying to say.. But hope this is enough info.. Thanks

1.) The best APU you can afford, OR a better route is any ITX sized cards. I have the R9 285 ITX card and it does really well. Plus you can fit "some" full size cards

2.) This case supports any full sized ATX power supplies... Says that in the description. So really any standard sized PSUs will fit. I suggest a modular one to save on clutter.

Question 3

I don't see a cd/dvd slot on the case...does it have one or would I need to add an external device?

No place for cd drive, no room for liquid cooler or after market cooler really bigger than stock . Other than that it's a good case well built. Still stays cool under gaming.

Anyone know if I can stuff a SILVERSTONE NT06-PRO into this case? The cooler height is 82mm, according to a review. Max for this case is 80mm, but I feel like there may be some wiggle room.
