can this be used for the three shell game? when i move  the shells around.it needs to be  smooth and firm.

I imagine it could be used for that sort of thing depending on the "shell". If you are using actual shells, they might have weird edges or angles on them that could catch on the fibers or just in general not run smoothly. Upon reading this i tried it with a glass mug and that worked well but the plastic cup didn't slide so freely. Ultimately I'd venture this isn't the right item as it could be finicky for that sort of thing.

Question 2

I currently own the Qck WOW edition, and am giving it to my wife. I wanted to know if this is like the QcK? because I want something different with dimensions that are 13inches+ wide and under 12 inches in height. I use optical mice, the Death adder 2013 and the cm spawn. SO if you anyone could recommend a pad that fits the bill I would thoroughly appreciate.

I love the Xtrac mouse pad. It's huge compared to other pads. I'm a graphic designer and as such, there is nothing worse than running off the edge of a mouse pad while you're freehanding a mouse stroke in photoshop. I think the one I bought is 13"x19" and it's perfect. I run the Logitech Performance MX Mouse on it and it works great. I also had the Razr Naga and that worked fine too.
