Yes The receiver arrived in the original Manufacturer's unopened sealed Yamaha box with Styrofoam corner protectors and a static free bag around the whole thing.It was in perfect condition with no exterior signs of shipper's mishandling.

The RX-V775WA also provides Zone 2 operation. This allows the receiver to send a separately controllable audio feed to another room or location using provided Zone 2 analog audio line outputs. There are two ways to access this feature.

One way is to use the RX-V775's Zone 2 Preamp output option. Using this option you will also need an additional external amplifier and a set of speakers for your second zone. However, using that setup, you can still have a 5.1 or 7.1 channel surround sound setup operating in your main room from one source, such as DVD or Blu-ray, and also listen to audio sources in the Zone 2 location, using the RX-V775WA.

The second option is, via the Power Amp Assign menu, is to redesignate the EXTRA SP connections to Zone 2. In this setup, you connect your zone 2 speakers directly to the 775WA's built-in amplifiers. However, you can't operate a full 7.1 channel system that includes eitehr surround back or front height presence channels in your main zone and a two-channel second zone at the same time.

It is also important that while FM/AM, USB, Network, and sources connected to the analog audio inputs of the RX-V775WA can be sent to Zone 2, HDMI or Digital Optical/Coaxial connections, cannot be accessed in Zone 2, unless the Party Mode is activated. Party Mode allows any audio source to be heard both in the main zone and 2nd zone at the same time.

In other words, when Party Mode is not activated you can watch a Blu-ray or DVD movie in surround sound in the main zone and also play a different compatible audio source in Zone 2 at the same time. However, when Party Mode is activated, both zones can only play the same source.

The AV receiver's HDMI jacks support 2-channel and multi-channel linear PCM (up to 8-channel) and Bitstream (Dolby Digital, DTS, etc) digital audio formats. The two HDMI outputs are parallel so the same video signal is output through both and can be used simultaneously.

Does this receiver have a connection for a turntable?

The USA and Canadian models of the RX-V775WA do NOT have an input for a magnetic phono cartridge.  You would need an external RIAA equalized mag phono preamp, connected to one of the two audio only inputs, to use a magnetic cartridge.

You could connect a ceramic phono cartridge directly to one of the audio only inputs but they have a low enough input impedance to diminish the bass response from the cartridge.

Do a search, here on Newegg, for "phono preamp" and a few will show up.

Question 5

As a apart of the deal this receiver is advertised along with a Free Pioneer A.Jones BS21 bookshelf speakers w/ purchase. I was tempted to go in first but when i researched little about the BS21 it is not Andrew Jones designed. So please take out the Andrew jones designed speaker along with BS 21 . This is very misleading and will lead to customer dissatisfaction. Or its a BS 22 ?

The speakers that came with my RX-V775WA were model BS-21 but it does say A. Jones on the box.  I didn't need or figured out a use for these speakers (but who says no to free).  I'm no expert on Pioneer or A. Jones but it's a Pioneer box that says designed by A. Jones so I'd bet they are indeed A. Jones designed speakers.

The Yamaha receiver is excellent by the way.

Question 6

Is this product, the Yamaha RX-V775WA, covered by the manufacturer's warranty? Your site says the warranty period is one year, but Yamaha's site says the warranty is for two years.

The literature from Yamaha, packaged with the receiver, states it is covered by a 2 Year warranty.  This is for the Yamaha RX-V775WA.

Quick question(s), I hope.

First, I don't see anything in the description or specs indicating power output in 7.2 mode; 105 and 90 for 2 channel driven, but how about 7 channel surround?  Also, there isn't a lot of information on the sub output: RCA jack, speaker post, or what?  I tried to figure this out, but the pictures are too small for these old eyes. :)

Forgot to ask about DLNA video; is anyone using this?  I current stream from my NAS to my PS3 or TV, but if I'm upgrading to a network receiver, I'd like to make sure the DLNA supports video formats as well and a previous review/question/answer seemed to indicate this receiver only supported audio formats through DLNA.  Can anyone comment on that?

I've read one review about this Yamaha where the owner said he had it connected to his computer but that sites like NetFlix, Hulu, and youtube wouldn't work with the receiver.  One person said the problem was likely related to his computer drivers and that's my take on the problem as well.  That being said, I'm planing on buying this receiver and hooking my PC up to it as well and I'd like to know if anyone else had came across this issue before I spend $800.00?

I use a PS3 hooked to it to access those services and have not had any problems. 
I stream audio to it over my wi-fi both through iTunes and using AirFoil, and have also used it to connect to Pandora directly, but haven't used any video services outside of the ones I access via my PlayStation.
The receiver has very good connectivity, and I'm more inclined to think any problems using those services are in the individual's setup rather than the receiver itself.

Please is Yamaha rx-v775wa  the same as Yamaha rx-v775, only that it comes with the Wifi YMA-10 adaptor, or is any other spec difefrent ?

Don't know about the RX-V775WA, but I can tell you that the RX-V775 comes with the wireless adapter.
