It says it is a Network receiver but I don't see an Ethernet input or any mention of WIFI.  How does it connect to my network?

The RX-383 is not a network receiver, though it does have bluetooth. You'll have to use a HTPC or other streaming device connected via HDMI and/or SPDIF to play network or web content. The listing as "network receiver" was likely copy pasted from another Yamaha receiver which is a network receiver.

One such receiver is the Yamaha RX-V483 which is virtually the same model plus networking and, as of the time of this writing, is available on Newegg and will run you about the same.

What are the dimensions of this unit?

FYI, the model I have is 483, not a 383. Not sure if that’s a big deal. Dimensions are
Height: 6 inches
Width: 17 inches
Depth: 11 inch cabinet (add another inch to account for WiFi antenna and speaker and hdmi cables.

Can you use wireless speakers with this Yamaha receiver?

I'm not sure, but it does have bluetooth so I expect it will.
