can I hook this up to my PC?

It should work fine if you PC the proper audio connections needed. I used optical cable to get the best digital sound.This system is designed for the sound to bounce off of the walls. It is designed for the listener to be positioned further into the room to benefit from the sound bouncing off of the walls. Now that said I stood about eighteen inches from the unit and it sounded fine. Sounds like an interesting use for this unit.

The Yamaha SRT-1000 can be hooked up to a PC by using either its supplied optical cable (digital) or a cable with an 1/8" stereo jack on one end and the red and white RCA jacks on the other end (analog).

What is the shipping weight of this product? Also is this 110V only or can you use it at 220V?

The unit is set up for 110 and I'm not sure 220 will work. there is a lot going on inside this thing that may be sensitive to the wrong voltage input. I would not try it over $400.

It was new. Being honest, I am overall happy with it, but for all the technology Yamaha brings to the table, we still have a hard time hearing dialogue.
