How can i do the firmware update?
I have this unit, and i did the update like it should be and the update took 5 seconds to complete, but when i press the surround button i never see the blue led light, and on my  Yamaha home theater app there is no 3D surround mode.

What must i do?
some say the firmware update only works with a BRAND NEW usb?

I don't know about the brand new USB thing, but for me it took several tries to get the install to work as it should (as confirmed by the lights on the unit). I figured it was just user error on my end since no one else had mentioned any issues... wouldn't be the first time.

The US & Canada model is only on designed for 120V , 60Hz

can i hook this up to my pc ?

Yes.  It will accept an optical digital (TOSLINK) connection or audio over HDMI, if your video card supports that.
