Is there any place in the case to mount a radiator with two fans attached to it?

That can possibly be done with the removal of the top two fans of the case, other than that you will probably be doing your own custom modification to the case in order for something like that to work.

I would suggest getting a much newer case than this one, though I love the case it's a bit behind the curve in terms of doing stuff like say water cooling.

Do keep in mind this isn't a full tower, this is a mid tower and isn't very spacious to support liquid cooling.

What sort of internal connectors does it have? Specifically, how does it deal with the fan connector, the temperature monitor and the four front usb2.0?

It only controls the fans that are connect to it's front board, so the top fan and front fan are able to increase in speed and lighting from it's speed controller. The wires are found on the top right when you remove the face of the case(You have to anyway when putting in a dvd-drive), they also need to be connected because they come undone.

The temperature is taken from a wire thermometer that you can place almost anywhere you would like, mine is in the center of the case (This means that it gives accurate internal heat readings).

The front USB 2.0 ports connect from the normal connectors that connect onto your motherboards USB pins(Allowing you the extra front prots). All the other wires are like in any other cases.

I like this case as a mid range selection and has been treating me well for it's space on the inside for how compact it is on the outside. As much as I would of liked front USB's to be 3.0's I don't have any 3.0 accessories so it's not really a big deal(Love having the extra 4 USB's on the front with the others that are taken up in the back).

What is the difference between the 'Zalman Z9-Plus' and the 'Zalman ZM-Z9 U3' models?

U3 is newer, main difference is USB 3.0 ports on the front of U3 version. But the cable that goes out of those ports is not standard one with internal USB 3.0 header but rather a pass-through cable that you have to connect in the back of your motherboard - outside. Please check pictures and description - it might have been changed.

which water cooling system is compatible with this case ?

I am using an h100 corsair cooler. But I had an issue with mounting the fans on to the radiator with the mobo I choose. I have a z77 sabertooth and the RAM slots are positioned too high so that if you want to attach radiator you can't. After a lot of hesitation I left the radiator fans off and placed them else where. Ive had my pc for almost two years now and havent had any issues with over heating or air flow. I even have my CPU overclocked 1.0ghz.

will a noctua nh-d15 fit inside?

The case is a bit tight as it is without a large heat-sink, but it will certainly fit...very snugly. The case in general is of superb superior quality, and has excellent cable management capabilities.
