The Zalman ZM-VE350 external HDD enclosure is stylish yet durable with aluminum housing that also enhances dissipation. It accommodates 2.5" SATA I/II/III HDD/SSD and offers up to 5Gbps bus bandwidth via USB 3.0 interface. In addition to external HDD, this model can also be used as virtual ODD which is useful when installing OS. What highlight this enclosure most is a backlit LCD display and a jog switch through which you can check the HDD temp, health info, and enable/disable write-protection for your files. Plus, a travel pouch is included for safe transport, along with a screw driver for quick installation out of the box.
