Overall Review: When I connected to a Diamond HD4850 video card, the power supply made a screeching noise with intense video changes - even surfing the web. I tried different connectors on the power supply but nothing helped so I returned it. My new Antec power supply has no issues.

Pros: Very quiet. 15% more efficient than my old high-end PSU. Has fixed cables and modular ones. Has one fixed molex and one fixed SATA strip (exactly what I need). I couldn't have asked for a better PSU. This one is perfect in every way.

Cons: This PSU is huge and heavy, so make sure you have room. It has dual PCIe power cables when I only need one. Neither are concerns to me.

Overall Review: I have a high-end 5-year old 480w Thermaltake PSU. I replaced it with this PSU and it was noticeably quieter and at least 15% more efficient according to my Kill-A-Watt. There is one strip of fixed molex and fixed SATA power cables as well as 2 PCIe cables. The rest are modular. I love that design, but others have complained about it. The non-modular cables are a trivial bit more efficient than the modular cables.

Pros: It's a beautiful piece of machinery, the casing is a great color, the cable coverings are high quality. Not to mention that once I got it in there and everything plugged in (which was easy as pie, except the putting it in there part), it worked right when I turned on my machine with no problems at all, and this is coming from a guy that's never built a system in his life and this was his first major replacement of a component.

Cons: The only thing that I can say about this PS is that when I opened the thing up, the corners were pretty busted up from being misaligned when the case was wrapped around the internal components.

Overall Review: Listen to me, this power supply is Massive. I mean, when I read from other reviewers that it is big, I didn't really think too much about it, I thought, "Hey, my case is pretty massive it self, I probably wouldn't have any problems with it." But no, there were problems, I had to scoot my Optical drive forward out of the front of the box by about two mm. which meant cutting some plastic guide rails off of the inside of my case with my knife. Not very classy. So heed this warning, make sure you measure your free space carefully before buying this product, adding about an inch to the specs to account for the cables coming out of the front of the PSU.

Pros: Enough power for most high end systems. Lots of connectors for as many drives and video cards as you can fit into your case. Very quiet PSU. Zalman makes great products.

Cons: Very large PSU. Make sure you have room in your case. I had to have only one stick in while installing Vista, but once that was installed and I applied a memory related hotfix from Microsoft, I put the second stick in and things were fine.

Overall Review: Running a Phenom 9600, DFI 790FX motherboard, 4 gigs DDR2 ram, 500gig 7200.11 Seagate HD, ATI Radeon x1900 XT.

Pros: GREAT cabling (more than I needed), great cooling. I'm driving an NVidia 295, Core i7, 4 drives, a burner, and an EVGA mobo with no issues.

Cons: It does have a capacitor squeal when I first start to run a high-end game on my NVidia 295 - it's quite intolerable at first. However, as the power supply warmed up and the game continued, the squeal slowly subsided to silence. Now when I run any game, I hear no squeal. For those of you who run into this problem, run you game for an hour or so, letting the PSU break in, and see if you still have this problem before reporting/returning it.

Pros: Beautiful, 140mm fan, silent.

Cons: Please, if you are going to run a GTX260 or above, don't get this power supply. In my brand new system with one GTX260, the power supply would make loud screeching sounds whenever I play any game. My sys specs are below. I'm pretty sure the wattage is plenty for my system but because the way this power supply is designed with the split rails, 18A is maybe too little for the video card. I tried 2 of these PS (Power Supply). Same thing. I am really disappointed, really am. I love this PS but I don't think I can keep this...

Overall Review: Core i7 920 @ 3.8GHz ASUS P6T6 Revolution mobo 6GB ram 2x 7,200 HDs 6 120mm fans This is not much but this power supply can't power this system without sounding like it's about to die.

Pros: Enough power for my Q9450, 8mb OCZ SLI, eVGA 780i, 9800 GTXx2 SLI setup in a full tower case with 9 fans; never had a problem with this unit since installation.; super quiet makes you wonder if it's really working : ) Would recommend it to anyone with the space for it; rear-showing red light indicates you're plugged in at a glance.

Cons: Large and long ("that's what she said" so beware); not "truly" modular; no powerswitch - just a (seemingly useless) noise suppression switch on the inside panel of the psu box.

Overall Review: Used this for my first build not knowing anything about Zalman other than the great reviews here. Went with the 850watt box for growth and my SLI setup, was not dissappointed in the least. Though not truly modular, the cords permanently a part of the box are the ones you WILL end up using no matter what - the others are modular and are really only useful for when you need them - which in retrospect really works. I added the extra PCI express 2.0 cords (x2), a SATA power cable and an additional Molex cable with three connections on there for other things. Works like a charm.

Pros: I bought this PS in Feb 09, and ran it on my home brew without a hitch until a month ago when I started having power up issues and thought at first I had a virus. But after checking it out I found that the PS was failing. I bought another PS locally and after I had time to think I noticed it had a 36 month warranty. So I did what they asked and sent it to the factory. Thinking that I was not going to see or here from them again I forgot about until a couple of weeks later here comes the UPS truck. When I opened the box it was a new PS with new cables. I will always purchase their products if I can use them. They could have gave me every excuse and I would have wrote it off - but they are stand up!
