More light means higher contrast images and more vibrant color reproduction. The lens coating is hydrophobic to prevent water from beading up on the objective lens, too
- Rugged Design: The body of these binoculars has a number of features that make them ideal for use off the beaten path. They feature textured thumb grips that make them easier to hold onto and prevents accidental drops. The lens barrels are sealed with O-rings to keep dust, dirt and moisture out, while Nitrogen purging prevents fogging even in extreme temperatures. Waterproof design that can withstand submersion in up to 3 feet of water
