The Z-Wave RGBW LED Light Bulb can replace a 60 Watt incandescent bulb. It has the typical A19 shape and screws into a standard light socket (E27 base). Because the LED bulb consumes only 6.7 Watts, it helps you save energy and money.

How It’s Controlled
This bulb is compatible with nearly any Z-Wave controller. However, Z-Wave controllers that do not provide RGB(W) control will not allow you to change the color of the bulb. In this case, the bulb will glow warm white only (dimmable). The bulb will still respond to other Z-Wave commands, such as On/Off and Dim/Brighten. It also serves as a Z-Wave signal repeater in any Z-Wave network.

Full color-changing functionality is achieved when you use the bulb with a Z-Wave RGB(W) controller, such as the Fibaro Z-Wave RGBW Controller, or a Z-Wave hub that supports RGB(W) control, such as the Zipato Zipabox (recommended).

Using the Bulb with Zipato Zipabox
Designed for use with the Zipato Zipabox, the Z-Wave RGBW LED Light Bulb fully comes to life when integrated into a Zipato system. You can remotely control all of the bulb’s adjustable features through the Zipato smart home app for iOS and Android, and use the Zipato rule creator to automate lighting changes based on events in your system. You could set the bulb to glow blue, for example, when your mail arrives, and set it to glow red when a security alarm is triggered.
