Pros: - Ray tracing, Over Clock, and 8Gb DDR6 memory
- Active fan control, nice that the fans aren't always running and when they do run they are very quiet
- Easy install and low power requirement
Cons: - No RGB (if you care about that)
- A little heavy and on the larger side for a lower end GPU
Overall Review: Was fortunate enough to get access to this card in the Shuffle when the RTX 3050s were released. I don't do any serious 4k, high refresh rate, gaming, so this card was perfect for me. I think the price tag is still pretty high for what you get since it is only a moderate improvement over the base 3050 cards. So far it has been able to run anything I have thrown at it (Fallen Order, Control, and heavily modded Stellaris) on high settings with no issues. Definitely recommend.
Pros: - easy installation
- DLSS is so good
Cons: - Only price
- No RGB if you care
Overall Review: I like it is sooo good , I play elden ring on it with high sitting and its great ..
Pros: Was way easier to buy than the other 3050 AIB cards at launch
8GB of vram is great
DLSS can make games that were unplayable in 1440p playable. (Of course the game has to support the feature)
Overall Review: For just a little bit more money you can get the faster AMD RX 6600 GPU. Yes the 3050 has better Ray Tracing support but that isn't something you'll be doing a lot of with a low end card like this. So I don't think it would be much of a loss at this price point to go with the AMD card for better overall gaming performance.
Overall Review: Runs games perfectly when paired with my 5600x, I can usually run most games at max settings and still get 90-120 FPS steady. The ray tracing is also nice to have for certain games since it can really change the feel and look of it, even though i barely use it anyways.
Pros: Easy Installation
Cons: First one was defective but Newegg replaced it quickly.
Overall Review: I won this video card on Newegg Shuffle for a decent price. The reason I purchased this is for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 game, my old card was only 2 Gig's of memory. It was horrible, stuttering, freezing etc. Now the game is smooth and looking great. Glad I got this card.
Pros: I was lucky enough to win this card on a recent shuffle and was very excited. All seems to be in working as well. The packing was sealed and looked new. Shipping was also surprisingly quick.
Cons: Another review for this card said the PCIe connector cover was missing. Turns out, mine was as well. A bit concerning of course but I'm not sure if it was just a quality control error for this batch of cards or what. It is a supposed brand new card and being picky is just something that has to be done. I mean all with how difficult they are to get and how well used some are due to mining.
Overall Review: An inexcusable error and, in a time when the market is crazy, there can't be any and companies should know this
Pros: - Good performance for a 50 series card
- Runs games well at 2k ultra wide thanks to 8Gb VRAM
- RTX 3050@1440x3440 compared to GTX980 @1080p, performance is generally on par or better.
- RTX cores speed up Blender rending using OpTix
- Quiet card when under load (no oc, 1 month old)
- no RGB
Cons: - price was higher than I should have paid ($750CAD). I'd value this card at $500 or lower, which is already higher than MSRP. ($250 USD)
Overall Review: - Buy it if you really can't wait any longer and need something to give you great performance at a "lower cost."
- Fits well in a "matte" anti-RGB build with industrial grey and black look.
Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes.
Overall Review: Missing pci express connection cover. When opening the box I was confused that there was no cover. Ive purchased some others like 3070ti and 3060 recently, also other gpu's in the past. Each of them have had a protective cover in the packaging. So I was very disappointed to not see one this time. It does raise more questions in my head, because another item recently purchased I've had to send back another purchased item to the manufacturer company for an RMA.
3050 is functioning so far with no issue, but I will remember this purchase.
