The ZOWIE GEAR AM-GS is a second version of the ZOWIE AM with rubber paint on the top and smooth sides, an alternative to the original AM with full rubber paint.

The ZOWIE GEAR AM-GS is an ambidextrous mouse that is unmatched by other ambidextrous mice in flexibility, stability and performance. It features two buttons on both sides which allows the user to switch between left- and right-handed usage. Only one side may be active at a time, thus eliminating annoying situations where you accidently hit the side buttons using the bottom of your palm or your pinky finger.

Shape and rubber paintThe ZOWIE AM-GS has been built as a versatile mouse, which can be easily adapted to the users’ preference to either left- or right-handed use. In an effort to offer users of ambidextrous mice (left-handed users especially) a higher level of comfort when playing, the ZOWIE AM-GS features two buttons on each side – but only one side can be active at a time, meaning that the users has to define either left- or right-handed usage. Just as with the Hz-changer on the EC-series, there are no drivers or software – the switch is made directly on the mouse, and the mouse will remember the setting. And its rubber paint ensures a maximum grip.
PerformanceZOWIE AM-GS uses ADNS-3090, the most stable and functional optical sensor on the market, and is optimized to be ideal for competitive gaming by developing a custom lens. Like what they did with the EC-series, ZOWIE finally succeeded in creating the exact combination necessary for a low lift-off distance (1.5 mm) while maintaining flawless performance.
Improved mousewheelThe mousewheel in the ZOWIE AM-GS is the same as the one used in the ZOWIE EC-series. Developed using an optical encoder instead of the traditional mechanical system, the mousewheel has proven to be extremely durable. The lifespan of the mousewheel is expected to be more than five years.
