5 out of 5 eggsMouse pun goes here

Pros: Comfortable
Innovative button placement- works out perfectly for Diablo III
Tracks smoothly
Good software (Razer take note!)
No delay when switching configs on the fly
Looks cool! Sweet red / blue / green LEDs and red underside.
Lightweight (if thats your thing) and ambidextrous

Cons: Just a tad small... If i could keep the proportions exactly the same and make it about 10-20% bigger, I think that would be ideal.

Overall Review: This mouse is GREAT for Diablo III! The six skills match up perfectly with the six forward buttons, and the top middle button is a perfect bind for Use Potion.

I'm pretty picky about mice but I've been very pleased with this one. It offers a lot for the price and does everything well.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter then my previous razer mouse.

Pros: Very comfortable, good size for small to medium hands. Easy configuration and enough buttons for FPS shooter games.

Cons: Somtimes when connecting or logitech products mouse disconnects and have to reinstall drivers. This happend with the logitech joystick i had.

Overall Review: Very good mouse especially for BF3. Easy to switch guns..easier then using the keyboard.

Had a razer lachesismouse that cost twice as much as this and i feel this mouse is way better then that mouse. People may say the placement of the buttons might get in the way but in my opinion they are perfect and easy to reach.

5 out of 5 eggsBought my second one

Pros: Everything. Programmable. I code and this one makes it so easier. Maybe its me but every mouse i have had, the wheel breaks or jitters the screen on me after some time. This has yet to hiccup in any area. Very well built.

Cons: Corded but i think I can now live with that vs the plaguing problems with cordless ones, and im not talking about batteries.

Overall Review: I was a die hard cordless guy forever. After about 20 cordless mice now of all price ranges i am done with them. I bought this for my desktop over a year ago. Well now this second one is replacing the one for my laptop. Yes i am using a corded one for a laptop. I dont normally leave reviews, so take that as you will.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: -Aesthetically appealing
-Easy to use software
-programmable buttons are easy to use and useful in games
-works on my glass desk
-wired (no expensive batteries to change out)(pro/con)

Cons: -wired (pro/con)
-somewhat on the small side if you have big hands
-so light to the point that it feels a little cheap

Overall Review: overall this is a quality Logitech product. If your a hardcore gamer that must use 3+ fingers on the mouse and has high demands on speeds 2000dpi plus and is literally sitting on the computer gamer 20 hours a day and comfort is an issue, than this mouse is likely not for you. But for your every day average gamer who's looking for a decent product that's fair priced and is pleasing to the eye, then this mouse is great.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Mouse!!!

Pros: Sleek Design, custom colors(8), 9 programmable buttons, lightweight, on mouse dpi changing button, programmable profiles on mouse!

Cons: Rather Small (Nice for people who use mouses mainly with their fingers), Didnt get it sooner!

Overall Review: Who needs a g9 gaming mouse when you could go affordable g300 gaming mouse? Definately a must get! Escpecially if your like me and was using the track pad of a laptop for gaming!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Light
9 buttons
Sensitivity good for MMO Gaming, at least how I play
Profile switching very easy
Color of light on mouse lets you know which profile you're on

Cons: Would be nice if some of the extra buttons were on the side

Overall Review: My dog stepped on my 6 year old optical MS mouse. Plus I wanted a mouse for The Old Republic that I could put some shortcuts on.

Does the job. Looks nice while doing it.

I love being able to switch from PvE to PvP profile while in game with the press of a button. AND the color of the side-lights lets you know what profile you are on. That is such a great feature and earned the mouse it's 5th star, in my opinion.

4 out of 5 eggsbollucks on the middle click

Pros: all kinds of pro's. ive used this mouse through several wow expansions, 2 seasons of league of legends, both borderlands, and atleast half of the assassins creeds. fully customizable macro-able hotkeys. blah blah blah its all down on the rest of the page could'nt be happier with this mouse.

Cons: after about a year of heavy-moderate play the middle click feature of the scroll wheel decided it wasnt going to work any longer. with the mouse having 9 buttons it was more of an inconvenience than anything. as a gamer serveral of my quick hotkeys used the middle button, just getting used to using one of the other buttons in place of the middle click was the kicker. worst part of all it happened literally after the warranty fell off. whoo for x-mas gifts with out extended warranty's!

Overall Review: will be replacing it with another of the same model soon.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G300 Black/Gray 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 2500 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Ive had this for about a year now, so i figured id post a review on it. The mouse itself while not to small does suit my needs just fine. The overall size of the mouse is that of a mid sized persons hand, not like mine which are large, although i like the size of the mouse as im a gripper, and not a palmer, so it works out just fine. The Buttons are placed in an odd fashion being on top of the mouse Left and Right Click buttons, but i found this to be an advantage after awhile of use. The Logitech software that comes with the mouse can be very useful, not only to change DPI settings , but also the number of DPI settings on each profile, for example , maybe for one program you only want 1 DPI setting at 1800 DPI, so there will be no other option to change the sensitivity. while another program you may require 5 DPI senitivity settings, the logitech software gives those options as well as the ability to custom macro buttons, change the way that the buttons are set to, and the ability to change the mouse colors. This mouse for me has been perfect and i wouldnt buy anything else out there for the price. The software is also compatable with other logitech products such as keyboards ect, so my G110 keyboard fits right in with the same software, easily able to swith between the two within the program to fully customize my user experience.

Cons: None really, the mouse comes with a mat finish, not a glossy plastic, the LEDs on the mouse are easily changable and doesnt get all greesy after a few hours of use. the usb cord is long enough that you dont have to do some sort of song and dance and plug it in the front of the pc case. the movement and tracking feel very smooth with my mionix mouse pad. its a unimouse for either left or right handed people, and is pretty attractive cosmeticly.

Overall Review: This simply is the best mouse for the price, when factoring in what i wanted when purchasing a mouse. i first wanted it to be from a good manufacturer, secondly i wanted it to go with my color scheme that i put together for my pc, and third i wanted to be able to use the mouse without it being a glossy platic that can sweat and feel all nasty after a few hours of using it, and the price factor as well. i ran though the options and this is the mouse i came up with. Fully funtional, and easily able to customize the button configuration, make macros, and the ability to change the color based on the profile selected gives consise and accurate feedback and lets me know what profile im using via the diffrent colors per each profile selected. Id definately recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a high dpi mouse, with enough buttons to be able to use them for MMO's or FPS games, or even programs that require alot of shortcuts. The Logitech Software is a small resident program that is installed and very small footprint as far a rescources being used. its user friendly design in the software makes it a no brainer, and very easy to navigate and create custom bindings and reallocation of button assignments.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck

Pros: -9 buttons
-Choose from 8 different colors
-Dpi from 250 to 2500
-Good click sounds, Sturdy sounds?
-Profiles for different games
-Cheap
-Great Software

Cons: -For my hand size the mouse was too small to palm grip, but a little too big to fingertip grip it. Still, it's way more comfortable than my old Microsoft Intellipoint.

-The G4 - G9 buttons are a little awkward to press. If you have a palm grip G8 and G9 are almost useless. If you have a fingertip grip like me, the G4, G5, G6, and G7 buttons are harder to get to easily, but not impossible.

Overall Review: Go to Logitechs site and download the software there. The mouse without software only switches between 3 colors and you can't set profiles or assign buttons.

With the software you can change colors and change what buttons do. I made G9 my DPI switch to switch to a lower dpi when I'm making precision movements.

The software also comes with premade profiles for every game from TF2 to Skyrim.

Pros: Very light weight, feels great in my hand. Buttons are very easy to push. Does take a bit getting used to the extra buttons but when you do, its a piece of cake.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Gaming Mouse

Pros: great budget gaming mouse, it is of the quality you would expect from logitech. feature set is good for a intro gaming mouse, 6 customizable keys, ambidextrous design (for me a pro), on-board profiles. the software makes this mouse, you are able to load profiles onto the mouse itself, and you can switch between three on the fly

Cons: the two buttons on the side of each main button are kind of awkward, but i was able to get used to them relatively quickly

Overall Review: as other reviews have stated this isn't for people with big hands
this is a great intro level gaming mouse, and for 24.99 (shell shocker) it was practically a steal

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This thing is really great. I have not had any issue with DPI, or sticky buttons or anything. It has a nice sleak look and feel.

Cons: The only thing I could say if I had to would be, that is a little small. So if you have bigger hands then I'm not sure if you would like this or not. It was a little bit weird to get used to but, I have got used to it and it is really great.

Overall Review: Great for the price!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse for small hands

Pros: Great action with all the buttons and the scroll wheel. Very smooth and thin/light cord doesn't interfere with movement.

Cons: Way too small. Would only recommend for early teenager/younger or if you exclusively use a claw grip. It would be much better if the m1 and m2 buttons wrapped onto the front side of the mouse. If you use the palm grip your fingers will extend way off the front of the mouse and not be able to left or right click. (Finger tip grip would work also)
For reference I am 5' 9" with average sized hands.

Overall Review: I think it is a great mouse if its comfortable for you. I would not recommend it unless you've tried it already. Something a tad longer or with buttons that wrap to the front so you can still palm it would be great.

5 out of 5 eggsVery comfortable!

Pros: Very Comfortable
Perfect fit for my hands
Very easy to customize to your liking
Pretty colors
Very fast response timing
Perfect for gaming
I improved a bit in TF2 using this mouse

Cons: It wasn't free!
Doesn't work very well with combat arms but works perfectly fine with all other games.

Overall Review: Sensor is off a bit but I don't see how that affects anyone, if you get this mouse make sure you download the drivers for it on the logitech website so you can customize the profiles. I recommend getting it, if you get a broken one don't be disappointing just use your warranty on it and get a new one that works, its a very good mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsSmaller than a MX518

Pros: It's fast
I like the different light modes and the changeable USB polling rate.

Cons: I've had this mouse for 4 days and still trying to get used to it. I'm obviously used to a heavier mouse and larger form factor. The thumb buttons sit way too high. And the 2 buttons on the right click get in the way constantly when I'm aiming since I'm used to a larger form factor.

I just don't understand why you change a successful design like the (3) MX518's which I've used for over 7 years. The only reason I bought this was to be able to change the USB polling rate like I could in WinXP, and the increased DPI. Since I'm on Win7 now, I can't do that anymore.

Overall Review: This mouse feels cheap.

Why can't you just make the same form factor as the MX518,(weight, buttons and size) and upgrade the firmware to 2015 standards and maybe put adjustable weights in it? That might be an improvement

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget gaming mouse

Pros: This mouse is very light and feels slick. Game detection profiles work perfectly and I very much enjoy all the tweaking options available. The lights are useful indicators so you know which profile you are using and the buttons are spread out so you don't have to try using them all with a single finger. Been using it since november 2013 (jan 2015 now) and it still works with 8+ hours of mostly intensive use every day. We are talking tens of thousands of clicks per day. (Thanks to games like starcraft and DOTA)

Cons: Visible signs of wear where my fingers and palm rest. After around 13-14 months the right click seems to be going but still usable in shooters.
I've also felt better mouse wheels but that's hardly a complaint.

Overall Review: I didn't get it on newegg, got it at a nondescript electronics store on black friday for pretty cheap.
Will definitely get a replacement on here though as soon as its on sale.
Also looks like logitech has come out with a new model so I might check that one out.

3 out of 5 eggsNice Mouse, for a bit.

Pros: Nice mouse, has a good feel, changes pretty colors, cord so you're not dealing with battery nonsense issues and the like. Use it for a lot of shooters.

Cons: Main problem - Mouse was great when I got it and served me faithfully for about 15 months. Unfortunately at 15 months the right mouse button is starting to lose its usefulness, and unless there is a toggle aim option in a game becomes totally useless for FPS's.

For a $37 mouse (when I bought it), or $30 (when I posted this) or a mouse that calls itself a gaming mouse I would expect a better lifetime, but I'm also a bit of a stingy old man, so take that into consideration.

Overall Review: Noteworthy but problably not as useful to most of you - personally my hands have seen some abuse over the years, too much boxing and not enough heat in my house makes me a bit arthritic. Due to the narrow shape of the mouse this can be somewhat painful as I bend my hand around to cradle it between thumb and pinky. Didn't factor this into the score since I doubt anyone will care about this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse.

Pros: The over all design is great. Using the Logitech software, I created a couple different profiles. One for an MMO, one for first person games, and another for web surfing. I each the four top buttons have different assigned duties. The mouse is comfortable, and has just enough weight. The DPI adjustment is awesome, and the preset s you make allow you to change the color of the mouse.

Cons: The only thing that I have found as an issue with this mouse, and it's not the mouse it's the software, there are a couple of games that make the software act strangely. Simple things like when you launch the game the software would revert you to a different DPI preset. But really not a problem at all.

Overall Review: I bought this mouse for my wife so she could play Borderlands 2 with me when it came out. She loves it.

5 out of 5 eggs1-year review

Pros: -Lightweight
-Great control with software
-Slides quite well
-3yr warrenty (see other thoughts)
*All points from the previous review*

Cons: -Small (for me)

Overall Review: After a year of HEAVY The left and right click began to not register, double click, or would act intermittently. After calling Logitech support and reporting the issue, I just had to submit my receipt as proof of purchase, and I was sent a new mouse. The warranty transfers to the new device as well.

5 out of 5 eggsAwkward Mouse

Coming Soon!

Pros: see below

Cons: see below

Overall Review: transitioning from larger mice, I found this mouse awkward to use until I took some time with it. As far as precision goes, its fairly accurate but mine gets jittery (makes blocks and hooks when drawing straight lines) unless the refresh rate is no higher than 500 and the dpi is no higher than 1500. 500 dpi 1000 hz works like a charm, and seems like the sweet spot for this sensor, although I use 1000 dpi 500 hz because it is both effective at navigating my desktop as well as getting frags in this fashion.

I've also noticed my right click in particular is becoming intermittent when holding the button down, but i've found a quick fix for this by pulling up the grey plastic that covers the buttons from the scroll wheel area with my fingernail and then properly re-seating it into the guide and the switch. this apparently pulls the contact back up and this seems to fix it for long periods of time.

as far as the mouse goes in size, it is quite small, and those with fat fingers will not like the button layout, but those with skinny dexterous fingers will most likely view the buttons as a convenience. at first I found this mouse awkward to use, but I have included a video that illustrates how I tackled its unique shape after transitioning from a more conventional mouse

I give the mouse 5 eggs because despite its flaws stemming from cheap construction the sensor and control of the mouse for me is satisfactory, and because of my slender fingers the button layout is extremely advantageous. I would dock an egg because ergonomically it is awkward for the size of my hands and causes discomfort during prolonged precision activities. However I have an auto immune disorder so I ache pretty much all the time anyway and therefore I'm not sure if that complaint pertains to the mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsnot very comfortable

Pros: it functions flawlessly.

Cons: this mouse leaves me with bad hand cramps. i have small/medium size hands. from base of my palm to tip of middle finger measures 7.5"

with this mouse your palm just behind the knuckles falls off the back of the mouse to get any comfort but...if you hold it this way the front buttons on the left index finger side curve off to the left at a weird angle. you have to adjust and force your finger a bit to hit buttons. it really gets uncomfortable quickly if your on a pc often.

if you try and choke up on the mouse and put more of your palm on it, your fingers end up curled and pointed down resting with tips on very front edge of buttons. again you have to bend your index finger at an un-natural angle to hit the side buttons.

above all that after a couple hours the base of my palm and wrist start to cramp up and feel really strained.

i would never consider this a quick reflex gaming mouse what-so-ever. even at that i would only recomend it for people with very small hands and fingers that dont spend hours on a pc.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job, looks cool doing it.

Pros: Easy to use
Feels comfortable
Decent size
Looks cool with the mode lights (lots of colors)
Plenty of options for the button setup

Cons: A bit on the light side. Used a heaver weighted mouse for a long time.
The software takes a little bit to get used to, but once learned, you'll be setting up modes the way you want them in no time.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech mouse

Pros: 2500 DPI is great for gaming applications and even drawing. Cable length is perfect, and design is ergonomic. Overall a reasonably priced mouse.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsSimple, yet feature-packed

Pros: -Logitech, good quality brand
-Ergonomics
-Customizable with 9 programmable keys and colors including cyan, blue, yellow, pink, red, green, white, and off

I bought this mouse largely for ergonomics because my hand was hurting while using a simple-shaped ~$10 mouse. Since then my hand has stopped hurting without changing anything other than the mouse. The programmable keys are excellent, though I rarely use them. I'm trying to force myself to use them (not used to having them).

Cons: None until recently.

After owning this mouse for a little more than a year, the right mouse button (button 2) started working intermittently. Not too much later, the right mouse button stopped working altogether. In the meantime, I programmed G7 (programmable key to the upper right of button 2) to take the place of the right mouse button. Now besides slightly skewed finger positioning, there are no more problems.

Overall Review: I really enjoyed this mouse before the right mouse button stopped working. I believe at the time I paid something in the realm of $30 for this mouse. For what this mouse delivers, I find it to be a great value in terms of features for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse

Pros: Great gaming mouse, enough buttons for a hardcore gamer, good control, the cord is a good length for stretching behind a monitor, the LED's on the side can be changed to blue green and red with the click of one button. Very cheap.

Cons: I got exactly what I wanted, for a great price.

Overall Review: Logitech makes fantastic products.

5 out of 5 eggsLove the feel

Pros: - Great feel to it, fits to hand well
- Lightweight
- Good for claw grip
- Plenty of extra buttons
- Multicolor LED isn't overwhelming, looks good

Cons: - Cord not braided

Overall Review: Great mouse for the money. Use it for Battlefield 3, Starcraft II, Skyrim, Team Fortress 2, CS:GO. Changed from a RAT5 to this, and I've noticed an improvement in my play. The RAT5 is a great mouse but suffers from a sub-quality laser sensor which creates a jumping effect when picked up slightly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Mouse

Pros: -Great ergonomics. It has rubberized sides to help with grip. Good midsize as well, not too big nor too small.
-The programmable buttons are well placed.
-LED's are awesome. 3 profiles with eight colors.(White, black, blue, red, green, yellow, cyan, and purple.)
-dpi is easily changed in the profiles.

Cons: -Red underside limits capabilities if you like to color-code your setup. (I used a sharpie on mine so it looks better =P)

Overall Review: -Download the latest software version from Logitech to unlock the potential of your gear, as the version included is clunky and outdated.
-Looks good with the G510 keyboard

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but not great.

Pros: Plenty of buttons, okay software, feels comfortable for the left or right hand, smooth movement.

I set up my three mouse profiles to align with gaming, internet, and photoshop. Gotta say I'm happy I can do photoshop commands so fast now. The extra buttons really come in handy for games.

Cons: Middle mouse click takes some breaking in, white lights on the side look more purple/pink, and sometimes DPI doesn't register until I switch profiles.

Overall Review: Overall, not a bad mouse. Good for a little of everything. It's a good fit for a medium sized hand.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: High DPI, but not too high
ALL the nine buttons are programmable
The 10-color (including off) LED is a nice touch
DPI can be easily changed
3 profiles saved IN THE MOUSE
Separate software can detect the game you are playing and adjust to a custom profile, not just the 3 in the mouse but a list of hundreds of games

Cons: A little on the lightweight side

Overall Review: The Logitech software (separate download) is a must-have. You can use it as a regular mouse with generic drivers, but to have all the features and customizabillity, you need the drivers. It's a relatively painless download at ~40 MB.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent bang for the buck

Pros: Bought this for my son for getting good grades and he immediately was bragging that it was more accurate and more comfortable with way more configuration options than any mouse he has had before. He is an avid gamer and has had no complaints thus far. (Plus it changes colors!)

Cons: None thus far.

Overall Review: We replaced an older optical mouse that had a bad cord and this was an excellent option. He never uses a mouse pad and plays ALOT of RTS games so he is constantly using his mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid comfy general use mouse.

Pros: Feels high quality, as most Logitech products do.
Enough macros for day to day things and light gaming.
EXCELLENT software for programming macros and such.
Ability to save macros into mouse's memory as well as on the computer.
Ability to set profiles for specific applications and games.
Custom user-changeable lighting.

Cons: The bottom is red, which doesn't bother me.

Overall Review: Bought this as a general use mouse for my workstation. Comfortable for palm grip, as expected, with a nice medium-ish weight. I've always been happy with Logitech products and this doesn't disappoint!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse! Great price! Im satisfied!

Pros: +High dpi laser
+Adjustable LED 3 colors
+Small but fits the hand well
+Not too many buttons but just enough
+Easy to click
+Great for gaming (have not setup macros yet but when I do on WoW I'm sure it will be godmode)
+Easy to change LED color (closest middle G button)
(Red,Green,Blue)

Cons: Only con I may suggest are the G buttons are relatively tiny and arent in the most ergonomic position. Take a look at the tiny buttons on the image before you make a final decision but really a great mouse great design. Works smooth still.

Overall Review: Great for gaming or any task works smooth feels smooth.

4 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: * Smaller than most other models (needs getting used to but ok after)
* Plenty of extra buttons to play with
* DPI settings and profiles + quick-change button are great even if you're not a gamer
* Them colorful lights...

Cons: * Not the best built quality
* Plastic has already started to darken here and there
* G4 button not working properly (and I don't even use it that often)
* Cable is Extremely flimsy
* No tilt-scroll

Overall Review: I needed a back-up mouse for my laptop and got one for $5 at a dollar-store. It feels at least as solid as the G300 if not better, its cable is probably twice as thick, it even has a blue led in the scroll. So the only aspect where it falls behind is dpi. Step it up Logitech, because I have a hard time seeing the value you offer.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat little mouse

Pros: -Lightweight and ergonomic for claw-grip users
-Nice looking with choice in color of lights, the blue matches the blue lights on my monitor and power supply.
-Durable so far. I game quite a bit, has held up well.
-I'm left handed, so this was a godsend with the extra button placements (completely ambidextrous design).

Cons: -The paint on the primary 2 buttons is starting to wear off and show black underneath. Cosmetic problem - there are no performance issues with this mouse.

Overall Review: Absolutely worth the money for a budget gaming mouse (especially for left handers).

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse, sad defect

Pros: I got my first one of these from Best Buy simply because it was the cheapest gaming mouse they have, but I loved it. The three programmable modes (and colors!) are very cool, and the mouse is very comfortable. It has more buttons than I ever use, but they don't get in the way.

Cons: Relatively small and light, which is a con for some people, but I have small hands anyway so it's great for me.

Overall Review: My first one of these died after a day; the USB connection disconnected every time I moved the cord. Got a refund and a new one, though!

Pros: Software
Quality
Feel
RPS
Comfort

Cons: I guess, if you were picky, you could day its on the lighter side, i personally like light mice, but i know many players prefer a heavier mouse.

Overall Review: This mouse is great, worked right out of the box. The Software is great, so easy to use, there are 8 programmable colors, not just the three shown. FAST RPI!

5 out of 5 eggsThe egg hit a home run this time

Pros: Awesome service from the egg. Found this for $24 as a shell shocker and bought it Wednesday at 6pm EST. Received the package on Friday around 2pm in Virginia. Great mouse at a great price.

Cons: It is a little small. I don't have very large hands, but as with all new mice, I'll just have to get used to it. Nothing to warrant taking an egg off.

3 out of 5 eggsExcellent Quality but Awkward

Pros: Excellent quality. I have average sized hands with long fingers. The grip feels good. It also has a lot of functionality.

Cons: I don't think I can use that functionality... my fingers simply can't bend the way the buttons demand.

Overall Review: Rather than this mouse being advertised as a gaming mouse, maybe it's more a mouse perfectly fit for another profession.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad, wish it was a little larger

Pros: - Adjustable Dpi settings
- Easy installed
- Easy to use software
- Colored coded for Dpi setting

Cons: - A little to small for my hand, another 3/8-1/2" wider, and 1/2" longer would have been perfect.
- Cord a little stiff
- Would be nice to be able to setup at least five Dpi settings

Overall Review: This September I torn a Bi-cep, and of course it was my gaming arm (Just in time for BF3). At the moment my thumb, and index finger are partially paralyzed, so unable to use the usual side 5 button mouse with my thumb. This mouse was my only option I could find to have at least five buttons I could use. A little learning curve to use just two fingers, but I've managed quite well. If it was larger I would have gave it five stars, just happy to be able to game.

Pros: Changeable lights with each color representing a different mode
Comfortable
Plenty buttons for different tasks

Cons: Claw Grip desgin = no good for users with big hands
Off-centered Laser
The bottom is completely red (looks kind of cheesy)

Overall Review: Considering how this gaming mouse came with free Combat Arms gift, it made me felt that I got a pretty good deal of this. Besides the fact that I don't really play the game anymore due to the amounts of hackers.

5 out of 5 eggsUbuntu/Kubuntu

Pros: See other

Cons: See other

Overall Review: Already wrote a review for this mouse, great mouse, but if you are a linux user I would pass over it for the simple fact that this mouse is extremely glitchy in Ubuntu, makes the OS nigh unusable. Left clicking likes to randomly resize windows, not launch apps on the launch bar and highlight everything.

5 out of 5 eggsEpic BANG for your BUCK

Pros: This is by far the best gaming mouse i have ever purchased for a 20-50$ price range. You can set the mouse to have macro keys for ANY program you launch.

Wanna play some Black Ops? Awesome, double click the icon and BAM macro set loaded on the fly. Wanna listen to music and BAM, the Media Key Macro's you set load simultaneously with the media player!

You can set macros on the keys anywhere from launching a program, any key on the keyboard, media keys, programs and even text macros! Get tired of typing the same rules and messages to raid members or people in your lobby? That's ok, load the entire message onto one key! Sort of like a built in autotyper.

I only have 1,000 characters and no one wants a speech but if you want a fantastic mouse without breaking the bank then you have found it. Incredibly customizable and smooth for the price.

Cons: Wish it had a thumb button to shift the DPI because I use the side "G" keys for weapon switching and chat macros and its kinda awkward to reach your pointer finger on the G9 and G8 keys.

Not a serious problem at all but that is honestly the only thing i could think of that bothered me even in the slightest.

Overall Review: Nice long wire to reach to your PC, glides across my mouse pad, nice weight (not too heavy or light), feels well built. Clicks feel good and not like a cheaply built mouse. Medium size, not too small or large and I have 8" hands.

Software is fast and not bloated. Very user friendly to set up and easy beyond reason. I had 2 games, my default and my media player profiles configured in under an hour. Install was less than 5 minutes and with Windows 7 the mouse already worked Pre-install due to Win7's auto driver install feature. """Works perfectly fine in 64-bit Win7 Ult."""

Just to reinforce my opinion, if you want a great, affordable gaming mouse with all the customizability under the sun then you have found it. Seriously, look no further.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Nice!

Pros: Bought this to replace a failing DeathAdder. I was first struck by the size. This thing seems small. Part of it might be just being used to the DeathAdder because I remember thinking how big that mouse felt when first purchased. The non-traditional button layout doesn't take long to get used to although I think it favors claw-grip folks (I prefer palm style). I love the profile options and assigning a custom color to each. The color options included white which was important to me for aesthetics in matching my keyboard and Corsair 600T case. I've only owned this for a day but I already like the way this thing feels. No issues with tracking on a pure black mouse pad and pretty good precision for my needs (primarily mmo's)

Cons: I could see the size being an issue for someone with large hands. I have average-sized male hands and it feels a little small to hold. My ring and pinky fingers feel a little left out--mostly due to the ambidextrous design. For some reason, I thought this had a braided-cord. It does not--my bad.

Overall Review: So far so good. Now for the REAL test--durability.

5 out of 5 eggsLight weight and quick

Pros: Mouse is light weight, which may be a con to some.
Long Cord, ships with no software, and works fine. Installation of Logitech gaming software is more straightforward than before, and has easier configuration than in the past.
Can change color of LED which is a nice touch. All buttons feel good when clicked are easily reached.

Cons: Weight - as mentioned above, may be a con to some people who like heavier mice.

Glossy plastic on parts of the mouse.

Size - It is a medium size mouse, if you have -xlarge hands it may not be comfortable, but small to normal and slightly large hands should be ok with it.

Overall Review: Only time will tell if it holds up to durability claims.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse, For Real!

Pros: You can change the DPI on the fly with the simple click of a button, which is a must for serious gamers like myself! This avoids having to exit to the settings menu to change the sensitivity. It looks really sleek and the red light on each side is a nice feature that can be turned off if you desire. I like where the buttons are located. Also, the downloadable software is very nice and user-friendly! It is very affordable!

Cons: As other people have pointed out, this mouse may not be for you if you have large hands. It works great for me, however, but if you have above average hands, you may want to consider a larger mouse. Just to put it in perspective, I am just shy of 6 foot, weigh 170, and have what I would consider average hands (I am also very good looking, but that is another story...). This mouse works well for me! I kind of wish it had weights like the G7, but I cannot take off an egg for a $35 mouse! ;-)

Overall Review: I have used wireless Logitech mice for the past five years. While I have been very impressed with them, the last one I had was not a gaming mouse. I really liked the G7 laser mouse I once had, but I bought it used and it stopped working. Ever since that mouse stopped working, I could not afford a new one, so I used an 800 DPI max wireless mouse. This new mouse knocks the stuffing out of that old mouse! I am EXTREMELY pleased that I got this mouse! I do not mind having the wire attached to my computer, because it is a ton more precise than anything I have used in a long time! If you have average or below hands, buy this mouse. Buy it.

Pros: Mouse has a very nice feel and buttons are easy to use. With other mice I kept wearing out buttons while using CAD. Mostly the wheel buttons. I was thinking a gaming mouse may hold up better. I will report back and let everyone know.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse but returned mine

Pros: Good DPI setting, never had any issues with my gaming. Color changing, lotsa buttons :)

Cons: Ok so reason I returned mine:

1) The mouse is small. Now I am 6'2 with decent sized hands, and this thing felt so uncomfortable. Its a claw-hold mouse. I read the reviews on here about the size but decided to give it a go anyways. Was a mistake.

2) Optical sensor is not in the center...its off center to the bottom right. This isn't exactly a huge issue for some people but when you have the mouse in the center of the pad you can notice when your mouse goes off the pad when you should have slightly more room to keep moving. Just a minor annoyance though.

3) Button placement - Kinda ridiculous...they aren't thumb buttons they are just finger buttons placed awkwardly to the side and back a little in perspective to the left and right clickers. Thought I could get used to it...and maybe with time I could've but I wasn't gonna mess with it.

Overall Review: 4 stars for a great mouse for those who can overlook a couple flaws but then again...what doesn't have flaws now a days :)

4 out of 5 eggsDifferent, but good

Pros: Just the right amount of extra buttons for mmo play. The spacing of the buttons around the mouse and their feel make it easy to know which one I am hitting, and I can do it quickly.

All the buttons are programmable to keystroke (not macro), including the one that defaults to dpi switching.

I am happy they didn't use thumb buttons. Those always messed me up before, forcing me to squeeze the mouse sideways. I like being able to push down on every button.

I like the rubber texture on the sides and the matte texture for the fingers. It has a concave feel on top, so each finger fits into a groove. Real comfortable for me.

Cons: On the light side, compared to weighted or battery operated mice, but it feels fine to me. Easier to pick up and relocate on the fly.

No disk in the box, so you have to download the programming software. So sucks for the .0001% of the population who doesn't use the internet. But then again, they wouldn't be reading this either!

Overall Review: I have big hands (for real like size 13+ ring finger) and I guess I like claw grip. I don't think I have seen a mouse I could palm without my fingertips completely covering the mouse and touching the desk on the front side.

I got it for SWTOR (nickname is my toon) and is helping me out in warfronts greatly. (Left hand spamming damage attacks, right hand for stuns, guards, cc breakers, etc.

Oh and the strips of color are cool. There are 7 to choose from, or just off. If you are feeling really nerdy, you can change it to match your lightsaber color. (Not that I would ever do that, but green looks pretty good.)

4 out of 5 eggsEh, good enough.

Pros: Good feel in hand, responsive, long cord. Custom buttons that are programmable with three on board memory slots.

Cons: Custom buttons can be set to *commands* and not macros, which I always thought would be the same thing to a mouse control panel. Apparently not! So buy if you like a button set to ctrl-C or ctrl-V, but not if you want more of a programmed macro button.

Overall Review: The top is grey, but the bottom plastic is an odd red color. It doesn't affect performance or is really visible when used normally, but why red?

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent gaming mouse

Pros: The mouse provides great features auch as a three profiles and permits the user to create personalize features (color changes are such a huge plus!) The profiles again can be matched to 2500 dpi and can be set accordingly again through profiles. I love the size of the mouse because i my previous mouse was a Logitech m305. (Generally play fps, mmo's on this and actually do really well.) As soon as i used this mouse it was an instant upgrade.

Cons: The mouse requires a claw grip which I was used to. It WILL be a problem for individuals with larger hands.

Overall Review: Final Verdict: great mouse, hands size may vary. (It has a very long cord...)

1 out of 5 eggsDelivered a defective product

Pros: Newegg's return policy is exceptional.

Cons: Out of the box, Button 8's response was dull. I had to press it a fair bit harder after hearing the click in order to get a response. A few hours later Button 3 began losing responsiveness as well. Shortly after that Button 3 lost all functionality and was completely unresponsive. I can't comment on much else about it, since I returned it for a refund a day after it arrived. And I am planning on finding a mouse from a different manufacturer. One with better quality assurance.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots of buttons!
Good for light gaming.
Software for the mouse was intuitive

Cons: Started exhibiting problems with the left click after a couple years. Would fail to register clicks at times or lose a drag and progressively got worse. Repair is too cumbersome/costly for what it is and opening it up would mean ruining the skates/pads. Mice always seem to have a tendency to break around warranty and this wasn't an exception for me. Get one with better warranty.

Overall Review: Sensor is Avago A3055, same as the G100.

5 out of 5 eggsBeen a great mouse.

Pros: I have had this for about a year and have had no problems with it. Before this I had 2 gaming mouses I paid over 100 for that had a ton of buttons on them, and with every game I played I did not use any of buttons, and more importantly I kept hitting them on accident and killing my character. Not to mention both of my old mouses stopped working. This thing is simple, and so far reliable.

Cons: Little slow moving around, you might have to adjust it to go faster.

Overall Review: I went through 2 100 dollar mouses in one month and this one finally hit the ticket. Glad I got it.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mouse I have used

Pros: comfortable, light, great reaction time

Cons: if you have really large hands it might be a little small

Overall Review: I have always been a fan of Logitech. Had an $80 mouse from them that I liked a lot, however I needed something for my desktop. So my plan was to take that one and use it there and have a cheaper one for my laptop. Immediately fell in love with the cheaper one, this one. and use it now for everything.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very nice mouse, can switch between three different modes with the click of a button. If you download the software for it, it allows for a lot of customizing. It came with two sets of friction-reducers to put on the bottom, and they are very useful.

Cons: I would personally prefer for the extra buttons to be on the side, rather than the top, so I could press them with my thumbs. With them on the top, you have to lift your finger to press them, which can cause minor problems while gaming.

Overall Review: Overall I would definitely recommend this mouse. High quality, has varying modes, and the LED's look nice.

Pros: Comfortable form factor - Is basically the shape of a relaxed hand (or at very least, my relaxed hand),
Very little travel between buttons
Very customizable
Decent price

Cons: Scroll wheel stopped working after 2 years
No Linux support for customization software - I have to keep a dual boot if i want to change bindings

Pairs well with the G710 keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget gaming mouse

Pros: Programmable buttons
Easy to configure
Cheap
Lightweight
Logitech

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Owned for over a year, heavy game usage at times. I now mainly use it for web browsing/schoolwork. Easy preset mode switching means I can change the mapping with a simple button click on the mouse.

I have one setting for regular use (browsing - mapped forward/back and page up/page down). Nice that I can set a different color for each setting.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good gaming mouse for the price!

Pros: - Very comfortable for small hands.
- 4 easy to reach macro buttons
- Easy to use software.
- Can turn off the lighting on the sides.

Cons: - The grey surface starts to darken where I rest my palm and finger tips. It's quite visible.
- The four macro buttons are quite limited. You cannot program them to run a set of spells/skills. They are more like short-cut keys.
- The DPI increase and decrease buttons are useless to me because it's awkward to use them. I only use one DPI setting.

3 out of 5 eggsLove the mouse, but not the lifetime.

Pros: Nice feel, good control, lots of buttons.

Cons: First one lasted fourteen months, next one only seven months. Used about two hours a day. Each one just finally was not recognized by the computer. Had to replace with a non-Logitech. Too bad.

Overall Review: Too bad, I really liked this mouse, but after two failed much sooner than expected, I had to switch.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing mouse with a couple caveats.

Pros: Very good tracking, buttons still working well after a year, lighting is pleasing, Logitech quality.

Cons: Very lightweight, bottom isn't perfectly flat and causes the mouse to rock slightly.

Overall Review: I love this mouse. I've had it for probably two years now, and even though I have others, I always go back to this one. I love the shoulder buttons, I use them all in basically every game I play. I didn't know if I'd like them at first because of the layout (I was used to side buttons previously), but now I find them indispensable and I won't buy another mouse unless they have the same configuration.

The only issues I've ever had are minor, mine has a slight rock to it because the bottom isn't perfectly flat, even after years of use, and the mouse is so lightweight that the cord hanging off the desk is enough to drag it around.

It is a small mouse and will be claw grip for anyone except those with the smallest of small hands. I have a 9" finger span and every mouse is claw grip to me, so I can't complain about that.

It looks like you probably can't buy this on the Egg anymore, but if you can find it, definitely buy it.

Pros: old one broke after over use and abuse. I could not find any in the stores around here, I ordered 2 more from New Egg, so I would never be without my favorite mouse for a long time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for lefty's

Pros: Lots of extra buttons (5 programmable)
Great software for customizing light color, sensitivity, and programmable keys
A button to switch between your 3 presets

The mouse and button layout are symettrical, which is not a pro for everyone, but as a lefty it is very rare to have a gaming caliber mouse that can be used effectively

I really love this mouse, I could easily see it being the last gaming mouse I ever own, and should I ever need another, i will choose this model again.

Cons: I have average to slightly below average sized hands- This mouse is right at the threshold where any smaller would not be good for hardcore gaming/ Surfing would be fine, but if youre large handed, sorry, keep looking.

Overall Review: For some reason, whenever i restart my computer, it reverts back to the lowest dpi setting, but once i cycle to the next preset (simple as pushing the lowermiddle button), everything works fine again. Possibly user error or something i have to tweak in the software, but worth noting.

3 out of 5 eggsI'll be honest...

Pros: I ordered the Logitech G300 mouse to replace my awful Razer Deathadder (left handed edition) mouse. The problem with that Deathadder was Razer hardwired the left/right click buttons and some games simply refused to recognize you swapping them back using the software and used the defaulted hardwired configuration. They should have used a hardware switch/slider under the mouse to overcome that problem.

Back to the Logitech G300. It's going to take a little time to get used to the mouse but it does have a lot of buttons you can use for different functions as well as a few light colors you can select to use. Shipping was very fast. Since I live about an hour away from Newegg's Werehouse, most items I buy from them reach me the next day, even the ones that come with free shipping. That's one reason I love ordering from Newegg. Oh, and for the record, I ordered this mouse because it was the only G-series logitech mouse for left handers like myself... otherwise I would have ordered a better model.

Cons: This mouse is very small. Since I am 6'4" and have large hands, it's going to take me a while to get used to using it.

Unlike the G19s Keyboard I just ordered from Newegg last week, you can NOT create custom colors with this mouse. You are limited to only 7 presets. Blue used to be my default color for my computer system, but I recently decided to switch the color on my G19s to AMBER and I'm saddened that I can't make my mouse match that color.

Another problem I am trying to adjust to are the positions of the side buttons. Instead of being on the side... they are on top of the mouse. It just feels awkward pressing them and I am NOT used to that. I'm not sure how I can use those buttons while gaming. The positions make them hard to reach using my thumb so I'm thinking I have to use the same finger that I do my lef and right clicks with.... but it's not too much of an issue since I mostly use my wireless Xbox controller for most of my games anyway and have a Fang Z-board for everything else, which has a ton of buttons on it.

The final problem with this mouse.. I have to say... would be the Logitech Gaming Software that it uses. I have three G-series devices: G930 Headset, G19s Keyboard and the G300 Mouse... and they all use the same software, which in theory is great... once program to control all the devices. Unfortunately, it also means everything is dependent on a single program. I currently am using LGS version 8.40.84 because that's the last version of the software before Logitech decided to lockout the pre-amp slider control in the software for the G930 Headset. Without the ability to raise the pre-amp a bit, the sound was too low in my opinion. As a result, my G19s keyboard and G300 mouse also are stuck with that version.. Logitech official response to locking out the pre-amp was to comply with some European law or something... but I think the real reason (maybe) is because some newbies would raise it too high and blow out their headsets... and Logitech got tired of having to replace their headsets... so they locked out the pre-amp. One other thing that very weird with this mouse is... the left and right click buttons are very close together (narrow) as opposed to my Deathadder so when I right click I seem to keep missing the button and over extending my finger... just something I need to adjust too.

Overall Review: Other than the small size and me personally being limited to running an older version of the software (LGS), it's very lightweight and smooth on my deskpad. The buttons placement feels weird but maybe I'll get used to them.

I'm hoping Logitech comes out with a new LGS driver that allows uses to select custom colors for their mouse and unlocks the pre-amp slider again....

4 out of 5 eggsWired mouse with strange lights

Pros: Works as expected. Is what was stated in the description

4 out of 5 eggsNearly Perfect

Pros: Programmable buttons
Comfort
Multiple Colors (You can even turn the lights off)
Light textured grip

Cons: Somewhat small.
Red base

I'm being very picky and stretching to find cons on this mouse. The thing is that action is very smooth and it's a very sleek mouse. It may not have weight customization or dozens of extra buttons but you get just what you need.

Lots of gamer's love this mouse and it is absolutely awesome for FPS games. MMO players may want more custom/programmable buttons but that's on a case by case basis.

The lights are customized by the software which is really easy to use. Once you choose the 3 colors you want just uninstall the software. The options are stored on the mouse. When you want to swap colors just hit the button on the mouse to cycle through your choices. You can also choose black / off if you're not into the whole colorful lights thing.

The red base is a little irritating but that's my being super picky. It's nothing really. The real issue is the teflon feet. Good luck finding replacements. I've had a terrible time looking for some since I snagged one on a hard surface and pulled up a corner on one.

Overall Review: This is by far the best mouse I've ever owned. It could be a little longer but then again I've got some thick palms where I've worked in various labor intensive industries. For most people it shouldn't be an issue.

The USB cord is very long which really lends itself to being able to put it just about anywhere and just working. It doesn't do too well when you are using it on a glass tabletop but then again most opticals suffer from poor glass performance. That's not a con it's just a problem with the technology.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little mouse

Pros: A few extra buttons, no necessary software installation, works well out of the box with three profiles built in.

Green light allows for quick dpi switches with the right side extra buttons, the other profiles free them up for regular button binding.

Cons: None

Overall Review: If you have really large hands, I would recommend getting a larger mouse unless you use a claw grip. My hands aren't exactly big (but they're not tiny, either)

5 out of 5 eggsBest mouse evar.

Pros: Ambidextrous
Easy to setup
Multiple profiles to change between

Cons: Wont self clone
Small for giant man hands

Overall Review: I have been using this mouse for a year now, and I love it. If it died tomorrow, I'd be nuts until I could buy another one. It's absolutely perfect for mid-level gaming (people who use some mouse binds, need a sturdy well rounded mouse). If you have enormous manly man hands, you'll find it a bit small, but average and lovely lady hands will find it comfortable.

4 out of 5 eggsMy favorite wired travel mouse

Pros: - Easily portable
- Light weight
- 5 Programmable buttons
- Three color modes (chose three color settings for swashes on each side from 8 different colors)
- Matches well with color programmable keyboards or cases with led lighting schemes
- wired = long cord

Cons: Conditional con - Wired.

For the color schemes, wired is a logical choice since it will not run out batteries as quickly, but in some environments (I use mine as a travel mouse) the longer cable can get caught up. I keep mine coiled with standard "twist ties" to keep it manageable.

Overall Review: The G series control software allows for default and game mode, and allows the choice of turning off the illumination of the swash on the sides. This is handy if you want to save the batteries on a laptop.

I have been very happy with this mouse's responsiveness and easy buttons.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: I bought this for gaming, but it's a great all-around mouse. The three different profiles let me switch between gaming and edit modes easily. I type with Dvorak, so Cntrl-C and Cntrl-V are in inconvenient places, but editing with this mouse makes it a breeze.

Cons: Makes me want to buy them for all my computers, even at work, and I can't do that.

Overall Review: Be aware that it's small, and probably more suited for a claw-gripper than a palm-gripper, but those are personal preferences, not cons.

4 out of 5 eggsButton Mapping Trouble

Pros: Can use left handed or right handed.
Three presets are color coded to the LED light.
DPI Shift feature is really nice, so that when you need really fine control you can shift it for slower mouse movement. Or vice versa to compensate for those games that slow the mouse too much when zoomed.

Cons: I would rather use the DPI cycling with 2 settings instead of 4. This would be much better than having to hold down a button for the DPI shift.
You can't bind a button to mouse button 4 or 5 without those buttons also being bound to Browser Forward/Back. I found them to easy to bump and thus if you are filling out a form online the back button causes you to lose your work. Support was easy to get and replied to me queries, but they simply didn't understand and kept giving me solutions that didn't solve the problem. Ultimately I have my RED preset with those tow buttons configured for gaming and the other two presets don't have button's 4 and 5 mapped. I rarely remember to switch this though when entering/exiting games.

4 out of 5 eggsLasted a Year

Pros: Lasted a year
Can choose what color is for what profile
very light
alot of buttons *I don't really use them though :)*

Cons: it is on the smaller side, I have large hands *2xl-3xl gloves* but it is usable...
the buttons have a learning curve if you aren't used to macroing and stuff, I never used them since I really only playing shooters and sc2
the dpi doesn't go high enough between the profiles, so it wont be what you came from *if you had one that had custom DPI* but it does come close...

after about a year, the left and right started to "flicker" type...like...when I zoomed in and held it, sometimes it would unzoom and rapidly zoom back in, it is getting worse...along with the left button when I shoot.....but it did last a year so a per month cost was 3.33 a month...not bad...

Overall Review: this was a nice little perchase when I bought it and my other mouse took a swim in my booze...
the choosable lights are great in the way that you can choose just about any color for each of the three profiles you have
make macros and stuff with them...
very light but it doesn't feel iike it would be very sturdy...but it is...
the teflon pads have had no problems on my pad I use "gel/spandex type thing"...
I am glade I bought it but the buttons freaking out on my angered me too much...I wont buy it again but for the year I had it...I was happy...

4 out of 5 eggsNice unit

Pros: Excellent tracking, good (to me) button feel, long cord

Cons: The buttons that one would normally use their thumb for are inaccessible to your thumb.

Overall Review: To be fair, I received this as a gift, and the image does clearly show the location of the 4/5 buttons.

It would have been nice for one of the color profile options to be off, but that's a quibble. If you care to re-educate your index finger to operate the 4/5 buttons, it's not a bad mouse. If the 4/5 buttons were thumb accessible, would be 5/5 eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed.

Pros: Fits my hands comfortably
The buttons are mostly accessible easily (except two, but I didn't need them)
Perfect for fps games
The software is very easy to use and very helpful. You can set three different profiles per game (using the autodetect game feature) and switch through them with the top middle button, which also changes the color of the sides.

Cons: For me, the middle middle button in between the scroll and the profile changer is not that easy to hit because it's smaller than the profile changer so if I used the middle of my finger instead of the tip of my finger I'd change the profile instead. I'm sure it be fine if I needed the button and practice using it

Overall Review: I really do love the mouse. The middle button thing doesn't really matter that much if your playing a fps because you have enough buttons other than that one. It's also really cool looking, which doesn't really matter but it's nice that its functional and stylish.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Perfect button config for me and perfect for my lefty girlfriend. Easy macro config, easy mode switch and like that it has the 3 different colors for easy knowing what mode your on, and the price was right.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Because I live 20 miles from the main newegg warehouse, the cheapest shipping method is always next day for me :-)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat multi function mouse with easy programming

Pros: Works great so far. It's been a few months and I haven't had any issues. I liked being able to program input per application. At first I didn't know what to do with 3 modes. I only needed one, but now playing with some multi desktop software, I have one just for navigating and switching between desktops which is really useful for me.

Cons: Really minor: some games won't keep the customized input. They work when I first go in, but if I alt+tab out, it loses it and goes back to the "default profile" inputs. I can right click on the game's profile and check Set as Persistent which corrects this.

Overall Review: Thinking about picking up one for my office. They provide a 5 button mouse (with a scroll wheel that can be knocked and left and right for an additional two inputs), but I prefer this one more. I like being able to setup three different modes and switch between them.

I don't use the dpi switching stuff at all, so can't comment on that. I found a desired amount kept it there.

2 out of 5 eggsJust feels funny

Pros: Looks cool, works great!

Cons: There is really no where to put your pinky finger. When scrolling with your index finger it pushes your middle finger off the right mouse button, almost like there's not enough room. The mouse just feels crowded and too small. I picked it up for 27$ but I should have just spent 70$ and bought anther G500... Owell..

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse.

Pros: Good mouse, works, solid build feel, and lots of buttons. Has 5 programmable "extra" buttons (aside from right and left click), one changes DPI and one changes profile. Changeable LED colors are pretty cool.

Cons: A little bit small. I'm used to holding my fingers on the outsides of smaller mice and the buttons on the outsides force me to keep my fingers closer to the middle. I consider myself to have average size hands, and the mouse is just a tiny bit too small. Also, the price seemed a tad high for a mouse this size (not really small, but not quite medium either). For that, I have to give a minus 1 egg. For $5-$8 cheaper (I bought at $45), I could give this a full 5 eggs.

Overall Review: Good changeable DPI settings and really nice getting used to the extra buttons this mouse provides over my last one, it's pretty nice when gaming. I keybind the mouse buttons to numbers 1-5 and it does well for me in my games.

4 out of 5 eggsgood budget gaming mouse

Pros: -nice in between price point
-feels comfortable as most logitech mouses I have seen do..but to a point
-nice amount of options to save settings to
-8 led light colors coordinated profiles

Cons: -feels a little too slick, like you almost have to check your hands sometimes to be sure they aren't sliding off.
-the button placement, does not feel as good as other mouses that have them on the sides.
-Took me more time to adjust to this mouse overall than a lot of more advanced mice at higher prices.

4 out of 5 eggsComfortable & cheap

Pros: Comfortable, grip, extra buttons, utility

Cons: lightweight, weight not adjustible (for a cheap mouse who cares though!)

Overall Review: Still going strong, it's not a mouse for either of our gaming rigs but it's been used on some of the other computers in the house, it works well and feels comfortable in the hand even when you use it for several hours.
