Can I play these DL dvds later on all units that are not DL dvd Recorders ?

What I've found is that it depends.  I have an older (6 year old DVD player) that I use for testing purposes, and the Verbatim's usually work on it.

I have another Sony laptop (maybe 3 years old) that I also use for testing and it's hit & miss on that one.

We use these Verbatim's for a documentary we've produced. So far, out of the several hundred DVD's we've sold, there have only been maybe five that have been returned because of play-ability issues.

I should also note, that we've had no defective DVD's, these are consistently great quality DVD's, that's why we use them.

Question 2

I am curious what burn speeds are supported by these Model 95310 Verbatim DL DVDs? I haven't purchased Verbatim DLs in a couple years.  The only speed that is listed as being supported on neweggs specifications is 8x.  Also from the picture on newegg I can only see the 8x label.  I am hoping that these are 2.4x,4x,6x and 8x, but if 2.4x is not supported I will not be purchasing these from newegg.  Thanks

Hi Matt, I buy these all the time and can tell you that 2.4x is supported along with 4x and 8x.  I used these for burning back-ups for my 360 games and found that 4x worked the best for me.  On another note, these discs are incredibly reliable and I very rarely get a coaster.  Enjoy!  - Steve

will a normal DVD burn to this disc?

Yeah it will. But a "normal" dvd is alot smaller size than what what a dual layered will hold. So it might be less wasteful if you also bought some regular dvd-r too

What is "branded"?

I may be wrong but my understanding of "Branded" means they are brand name labeled by the manufacturer, in this case "Verbatim". If they were unbranded they would be generic or unlabeled in plain packaging.
