5 out of 5 eggsMy first SSD, plenty good for me.

This review is from: Silicon Power S60 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S60S25

Pros: Windows 10 boots in only 16 seconds, my desktop is on before the monitor is displaying. Computer is super snappy now with the addition of the 2x4GB KLEVV 1600 RAM i also purchased here.

Cons: I did not like some review I read about bait and switch on the controller chips, but I don't care, It's light years faster than my WD2500 that lasted 12 years before it died.

Other Thoughts: I used EaseUS to clone the 80Gb HDD I was temporarily using. Cloning did not take too long and after unplugging the HDD, Windows 10 booted straight into the SSD without any fiddling whatsoever. I recommend also buying the Corsair CSSD-BRKT1 SSD Mounting Bracket , as it is very good and the mounting holes and hardware are all correct.

2 out of 5 eggsGood to set up, but quick to start failing

This review is from: Silicon Power S60 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S60S25

Pros: Fast read/writes
worked for the 3 months it DIDN'T BLUESCREEN MY PC

Cons: Failures and Blue screens started after 4 months, a terribly short lifetime. I lost a massively important 7 page college final essay to a blue screen and it corrupted my file data and had to retype my entire essay. I would NOT recommend this product, the stability and lifetime is not worth the couple dollars to save over an SSD like a Kingston.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this unless you are going to save a few bucks and go for the shetchiest luck of the draw binned SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well

This review is from: Silicon Power S60 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S60S25

Pros: Used this SSD in my desktop with a poopy mounting kit, and then took it out and now have it in a laptop. So much faster booting than with my old 7200 RPM drive.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat SSD for the price!

This review is from: Silicon Power S60 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S60S25

Pros: + CHEAP
+ ordered 2, both good on arrival
+ Win 10 bootup time is around 7 seconds

Cons: - NONE at this price point

Other Thoughts: There are bigger and faster SSDs out there, but this one is dirt cheap and gets the job done very nicely. A great introductory SSD to run your OS off of!

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money!

This review is from: Silicon Power S60 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S60S25

Pros: Unbelievable performance! These are the results of a benchmark I did. It's not that far behind a very high end SSD I have in my gaming rig (I use this in a cheap laptop I use for web surfing!

Cons: It's held up fine so far, but I don't know what to expect on the lifespan.

Other Thoughts: Its perfect for that cheap-o laptop that you just use for web surfing, but don't want to constantly be waiting around for as the HDD tries to catch up....(the drive this one replaced was just pitiful).
