3 out of 5 eggsGood Case, Cheap PSU

Pros: Case does it's job, but it's way too big for my needs. I should have paid more attention

Cons: PSU started to fail after 6 months or so. Was getting errors and random shutdowns. I bought a Corsair CX 500 and I haven't had a single problem since. If you want a cheap case, just get a cheap case.

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: Finally complete the whole combo, now it is working
price is good combo (link in my last post no longer selling)
Some times PCs don't power up, I had been a net admin, this could happen, battery runs out, sockets lose contact. Reasons could be I used the mem from another combo (but work at another machine, without mem the mb did not beep). There was latency at the first power-ons. Too many possibilies, I can not try all.
Finally, THE COMBO works.
I would give four eggs, but this time five to balance the previous one.
I added an extra NIC and two 2tb hdd, so far so good.
DIY a NAS good choice.
Power sufficient.
If the box can last one year I will come back review.

Cons: The case deformed, so it is something you hide in the corner.
The motherboard can not be seated properly, there should be at least four bronze screws (m/f) which came only two to seat the mb higher.

3 out of 5 eggsWell...

Pros: I am giving it 3 stars because I like Rosewill and they do make stuff affordable with fairly decent quality. Four would have been an option if it was either lower in price or the panel steel was just a little more sturdy.

This case came in a bundle that I honestly didn't want but I said what the heck, why not try it. I had some spare fans to use. What's up with the lack of fans? I'd take a lower quality, maybe noisy fan over no fan at all honestly.

I guess it was free after the combo discount. It does have minimal cable management in the side panel, more on that in the cons...

It is roomy, I'll give it that, so you can find a way to route your cables in a spare drive slot, and a GTX570 fit in it nicely which is almost the same length as a 7970. Don't expect anything longer to fit without using some tools (I recommend a nibbler) to remove a drive cage.

To my surprise the motherboard risers fit very snug and didn't strip, an issue I've had on much more expensive boards. Included hardware was more than enough, which is why I like Rosewill, because they always seem to account for people accidentally losing a screw or two.

Cons: Like I said it has some cable management indentation but don't expect to route anything back there but the smallest of stuff, you will probably bend the side panel if you try to smush it on. Sata cables, the front I/O panel cables, those things worked, but if it isn't a flat ribbon cable it's going to bulge the steel. Thankfully I didn't make that attempt but I could see someone going for a seriously clean routing job and ending up freaking out.

For just a bit more you can get a case from NZXT or Cooler Master that is going to blow this thing out of the water. In features, look, lighting, and build quality. Please, unless you're running a VERY low power system, don't even mess with the included PSU. It scares me.

For a much cheaper price and maybe more durable steel/plastic it could pass as a very efficient server box. Unfortunately there are some cases in this price range that have blown me away with their quality. No they did not include a 350w PSU but come on, that's what big box system retailers do. Spare me the PSU and offer a fan or two, or just a little less bendy panels.

I personally don't like the black on black face but that's a cosmetic issue that some people have said to like so to each his own.

Other Thoughts: I don't mean to trash anyone, I have a few Rosewill products that nobody could EVER pry out of my hands, but this case, had it been MUCH cheaper, would make more sense. NZXT and Cooler Master make some steel/plastic cases in the 50-75 range that are honestly Lian-Li quality.

1 out of 5 eggsVery poor case

Pros: cheap and has power supply

Cons: Has no case fan (for a company that has its own line of fans that seams very cheap). Case is poor quality. As others have mentioned below it comes all banged up. I bought 2 of these as I thought the delivery service did it the first time. Second one came in perfect box but was still banged up. The first one I called them and they were supposed to be sending me a replacement cover as this one was busted. (been a month and still waiting, called them and they said you get it when you get it and that I am "on the list" which tells me alot of people have had issues with it. Can't say I am impressed with the support from Rosewill which is very unfortunate as I have bought a lot of their stuff and use to have some faith in the company. I will start looking around again.

Other Thoughts: If they actually cared about their customers and would have sent me replacement cover (which is still a hassle on my side and loss of time) this review wouldn't have been this negative. I would like to think I was dealing with a company that cared about its customers and showed some integrity.

1 out of 5 eggscome with combo not working

Pros: price is fine for the combo

Cons: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1461101
come with this combo
piece up, the box won't power up
try with RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black 1.0mm SECC Steel
I can see the bios starting UI
basically believe the Rosewill R103A does not have the ATX_12V 2x4 connector, what comes is 2x2 connector
this is a big drawback for online purchase.
Although the combo is cheap, so cheap will have problem.
I thank myself, I bought another case at the same time.

if there is any work around let me know

1 out of 5 eggsBeyond poor construction

Pros: none

Cons: This is without a doubt the worst built case I have ever seen. I have built dozens of computers, and I got two of these cases as part of a couple bundles. Neither box showed any signs of damage from shipping. The first case came out of the box dented in the back, but I was able to make it work. The second case, however, was dented in the exact same place (which also leads me to believe it was not an isolated shipping or packing accident). It was also dented in a couple other spots, the side panel did not fit squarely, the door to the front panel ports did not shut all the way, and the case did not sit level at all. I did not even try to make the second one work. I just put it back in the box, and I will be contacting Newegg to seek a replacement.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS CASE! There are so many other affordable cases out there that are better built. Even if I get a replacement, this case is just a waste of time and effort.

Also, I have never before left a comment on a product, but this was so bad that I felt the need to do so this time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Simple, nice case and PSU for the money...39.99? can't beat it with a stick of dynamite. Throw a couple fans in there and you're good.

Cons: None you silly whiners.

Other Thoughts: It's all put together for you! All black, classy looking, for people complaining, go spend $200 on something "better" with your clear side panel and LED lights, cornballs....Rosewill is a good company, and to get a nice clean looking case and PSU for 40 USD, good luck finding something of this quality for that price.
