5 out of 5 eggsNice display case

Pros: I bought this case 4/24/2010. I've had two motherboards in this, two power supplies, about 6 different drives, and a couple of other components that I've rotated through in the last 3 years. For a good chunk of it's operation I left one side of the case off.

And this case still looks good and I'm still happy with the purchase.

Cons: 1. The power supply needs more support. I have a 650W in there and it sags inward despite the screws being tight and the power supply being flush. I've thought about drilling in a hole from the top to add a support to catch some of the weight.

2. When putting in and taking out drives, both sides of the case need to come out and that is a lot of screws, and when they are out this seems fragile to me. Just add an extra fifteen minutes to swapping out drives. I've thought about slicing the motherboard side panel about 7 inches from the front to alleviate this... And since there is room under the motherboard, I might consider a crossbeam rib to hang some lighting from too.

3. The front side USB/Audio jack burned out on me and Logisys does not sell a replacement (that I've seen anyways). I have yet to find a replacement that doesn't require me to mod the front.

Other Thoughts: If you're buying a case for it's appearance, it should look good... And this does awesome.

4 out of 5 eggsVery cool case!

Pros: Great looking case. Love it! Not as hard to work with as people make it out to be.

Cons: No LED's in the fans. Have to remove the mother board and take off the right side of the case to install or remove drives.

Other Thoughts: Have to get creative with cable management, because you can see everything. When it gets dusty inside, you can REALLY tell.

3 out of 5 eggsCool Box

Pros: This is an awesome looking box. Good room for future expansion and 4 (somewhat small) fans.

Cons: make sure you are grounded when doing your build, this thing is a static monster

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job

Pros: Cheap and does what its supposed to do. Very quiet operation is a plus.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it - Too Cool

Pros: Looks Great - Does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you need to go in and out of your case constantly don't go here. If you want a really cool case and are willing to take your time and do it right the first time then it is great.
Yes it scratches easily - what do you expect from plastic?
I am getting ready to buy another for my other system.

Cons: 120mm fans would be much better.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks cool, fails as a computer case

Pros: Like the hot blond cheerleader who everyone wants to go out with until she opens her mouth to say something, looks are all this case has going for it.

It's a beautiful case, but just hell to work with.

Cons: Just terribly designed.

- Way too many screws and no easy access points. Takes forever to get open and shut even for the simplest procedures.

- Motherboard screws directly into the back panel, which as I mentioned does not have any easy access points. This means that if you are installing a hard drive, DVD drive, card reader, anything that goes in the front bays ... you get to take the whole machine apart.

- Front USB/sound ports are held in place by a poorly designed brace that comes loose and lets the ports fall inside the case with regularity. I guarantee that if you use the front USB ports often, you'll be fishing them out of the bottom of the case at least once a month.

- Both the front USB ports and the power switch on my case burned out at various times, and I had to write the manufacturer for replacements.

- Top mounted power supply with NOTHING to provide support underneath. It just hangs there from the side, begging for a reason to fall.

Other Thoughts: more cons: four 80m fans, which are going to be louder than 120/140mm fans ... no dust filters; the case fills up with dust like nothing I have ever seen ... scratches easily ... poor cable management.

This is by far the worst case I have ever owned. Do not fall for the good looks. You will regret it.

2 out of 5 eggsAwesome idea for a case...in theory only.

Pros: Lots of room, good air flow, looks neat under blacklight.

Cons: This case is an enormous pain to get things installed. A lack of any horizontal surfaces in the drive bays means having to screw drives in on both sides of the bays, and if you have the motherboard already installed, this is a major pain because the mobo mounts directly onto the panel, which also means cable management can be an issue, but in a transparent case, you're gonna see a rats nest somewhere.

Also, the rear expansion plates are poorly designed, being held in place solely by the single mounting screw (which isn't the usual size as other cases), with no groove on the other end common to metal cases, making them flimsy to the touch.

The screws that hold the drive bay panels in place stick out on the top and bottom of the case, whereas the rest of the holes in the paneling are recessed

And lastly, there's about a 1/8-inch gap where the fans are mounted, because the fans included are too small.

Other Thoughts: Acrylic is somewhat fragile, not to mention being a static/dust magnet. This case will show every scratch, every imperfection, however minor. I gave it two eggs because while this case has been the bane of my existence since buying it for a friend's build, this could become a rad case with a few key improvements (separate mounting plate for the mobo, horizontal tabs on the drive bays, etc), but as it stands right now, this case is much more trouble than it's worth, trust me on this.

1 out of 5 eggsLogisys makes nothing but trash

Pros: The case does have a nice look to it.

Cons: Well to start with, every one egg rating given to this product is completely true. It is overall made incredibly cheap. I received this product and it had initial scratches on the edges despite the plastic covering on it. The assembly of this product was horrible as well. Every screw on the case was overtightened. One of the screws was tightened so much that one of the joining lugs was cracked. One of the nine screws to take out of the side panel was tightened so much that i had to completely strip it out in order to get it out. if someone told me logisys has quality control I would laugh at them. As a final note, if you think that the fans have lights on them they don't. the UV Blue Description just means that the fan casing is UV blue colored.

Other Thoughts: I have looked at other Logisys products and their reviews are no better. Do yourself a BIG favor and just stay away from Logisys products. They make nothing but TRASH. I do not understand why Newegg lowers themselves by selling this stuff to begin with.

1 out of 5 eggsLook elsewhere. looks are not what they seem.

Pros: The case does look nice...

Cons: 1.)You have a ton of screws to unscrew from the side just to get into it. Also, it's not double layered for the motheboard like most cases...So if you're installing any hard drives, you're going to have to make sure to install those first...As taking the other side of the case will also remove the motherboard (and cause a disaster if you do that!)

2.) The bays are too spread out. You have to literally take them out to screw your HDD's in. Otherwise you'll have about a 1/4 inch gap between both sides where the HDD's won't touch. Not to mention, the acrylic does have holes, but the thickness of it is so ridiculous that you're LUCKY to have come with some long screws...

3.)The front panel cable came broken. I had to tape it all up to get it working. I emailed asking for a replacement....We'll see how that goes.

4.)99% of case bays have something for the HDD to sit on while screwing them in...These bays don't have ANY thing like that. You have to hold the drives while screwing the

Other Thoughts: Actually, more cons...Ran out of characters.

5.) Scratches easily

6.) Only came with one side fan, not two like you see in the picture

-----now for other thoughts-------

For those complaining about nothing to ground to, there IS a power supply...Unless you're somehow running the computer without one...Or your PSU is also acrylic? Just use it for grounding but make sure the switch is set to off!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: This case is truly awesome, if u want a case that can fit a lot of stuff this is the one I bought it when it didn't have the LED but i put blue cathode lights as well as my power supply is acrylic clear and has blue LED. sometimes its a little bulky but it is actually really nice for adding more stuff, as well it stays really cool i run a quad core processor as well as a bug graphics card and the fans are always blowing cool air out of the case.

Cons: gets a little dusty here and there but its really easy to manage

Other Thoughts: great, awesome case especially for looks, space, and keeping everything cool
