5 out of 5 eggsPerfect MicroATX

Pros: Good USB 3.0 placement and solid slots
Front quiet fan with dust filters on air intakes
Front plastic has good finishing
Overall good look

Cons: little cramped

Other Thoughts: I've bought this for two customers, its quiet, though one was easy the other one had two raid 1 drives and fitting both in skipping a space between them for cooling purposes was kind of a pain due to lack of space and long cords best on the power supply. Best get a modular PSU for this thing

2 out of 5 eggsFlimsy

Pros: Nice Looking Case. Not too large for a MicroAtx build. Elegant feel into the case.

Cons: The case is too lightweight, and very flimsy until you start building it.

You have to twist and bend the back Card slots, to "cut" the cheap metal away and and insert the card.

Received damage and couldn't fix the damage , so had to tape the front panel to the main body to keep the front panel intact. (Because the case skeleton is way to flimsy)

I was too busy and in hurry to request and go through the dreaded RMA process. I emailed SilverStone about the damage, after months, they couldn't help. I understand; and I am moving on to something else.

Besides, the case itself (without a front Panel), is a copycat of another brand. I guess the other brand and SilverStone bough these pre-designed cases.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this Model because I had older SilverStone cases, and their quality was superior. But not the same with this case. You get what you pay for.

I think my loyalty to SilverStone is wanning. Time to try and build other PCs with other brand cases; I am going to try Corsair.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Case, Minor Cons, But enough to dock a star

Pros: Price! $40 as of this review
Solid Construction
Painted interior
USB 3.0 front panel
Small, and good/simple looking
SSD/2.5" mount
Padding to reduce sound.

Great case for an HTPC, or small Gaming PC. I personally built a simple PC for my Mother (no GPU, just barebones). Back plate is just a giant cut out, so if you wanted to use an aftermarket heatsink, that'd make it easier

Cons: 2 of the 4 holes for my PSU didnt line up. I have a Seasonic 360W PSU, normal size and build, no surprises, so this is a fault of the case

the 2.5" mount, as others have said is horrible. it screws in through the bottom of the case, and puts the SATA and Power ports almost flush with the bottom. Didnt cause me any issues, but make sure you have a straight (not L shaped) SATA cable, otherwise you wont be able to connect it. also, since the PSU is top mount, the Power cable will be running all the way to the bottom, which brings me to my next point:

There is 0 room for cable management behind the case. you could probably fit fan cables behind there, and the front panel pin connectors (PWR SW and etc, not the USB 3.0 cable) You will want to buy a modular PSU for this case (i accidently didnt, all the models in my PSU line were modular, except the one i bought, didnt realize) you will have a bunch of cables in there.

the loss of an egg comes from a combination of the unaligned PSU screw holes and the horrible 2.5" mount. i dont really count the lack of room a con, more of a note.

Other Thoughts: The front filters are two little vents on the side. its better then nothing i suppose.

there is room for 3 fans, a 120mm in the front, an 80,, (i think) underneath also in the front, and a 90mm (or 80mm i think) in the back. there is no top vent or bottom vents or side vents. it comes with a front 120mm, i have no idea how good the fan is (though ive heard decent things about SilverStone fans in their cases) as i replaced it with a Corsair fan. also bought a CoolerMaster fan as an exhaust. Beware if you plan on using this is a Gaming PC Case, theres just not a lot of airflow going through this. smaller fans, small air intake, and no cross flow.

Temember this is a $40 case. its great for the price, truly, Id probably buy this again or recommend it but this is no flagship.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Elegant, easy to build up.

Cons: Sound dampening doesn't cut out the noise of my graphics card and PSU.

Other Thoughts: I like this case a lot. It's is simple and elegant, good value, and well finished. I think this is an excellent entry-level case, and I would choose it again if I had to do over my first build. I wish it could magically make my GPU silent, but alas....

1 out of 5 eggsPower button gets stuck

Pros: Got this on sale for 39.99. Sleek and minimalist design.

Cons: Design of the power button causes it to get stuck. This happens with both cases I bought, a obvious design flaw. Their other model, PS08B does not exhibit this issue.

Overall structural rigidity is weak therefore if you're planning to use a HDD in this case get ready for some really annoying humming and vibration, this is something sound deafening cannot remedy.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I got a bad batch but keep this in mind when purchasing this case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat no-frills option

Pros: -All black, even interior
-No side window/vents and no top vents
-No sharp edges
-No flashy LEDs makes it great for office use

Cons: The motherboard standoffs required a little bit of elbow grease to tighten. Had to use pliers. No biggie, just used to being able to tighten standoffs with just my fingers.

Other Thoughts: Like other reviewers have stated, it is compact inside. You need to plan ahead on what you are going to do. To add hard drives at a later time you will need to remove the cpu heatsink or remover the entire motherboard. I suggest getting a modular PSU since there is little room for extra power cables. Otherwise, this is an excellent basic case.

4 out of 5 eggsTardis Case

Pros: This case is tiny on the outside and big on the inside. I have a mATX Z87 board with a core i5 4670K, 4 hard drives, 1 SSD and a MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr card in mine. 2 USB 3.0 front ports, spacious motherboard backplate cutout and "sound insulation" (honestly, the sound insulation is not the best). The supplied Silverstone 120mm fan maxes out at ~1000 rpm and remains very silent throughout. Clever reversible right and left side panels and intake filters. Also, no sharp edges in case is a nice plus for a budget case.

Cons: If you're building a high powered system, you'll want to add extra fans/cooling. Working conditions are cramped and cable routing is minimal/nonexistent. Plan your build very carefully, as CPU heatsinks/tall ramsinks will block your HDD cages if you want to install/remove drives. The supplied air 'filters' are useless - large open plastic holes with no mesh.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Perfect Case

Pros: This case is great. I wanted a simple case and this one is perfect.

- Looks great
- Solid case and a great bargain
- installation of drives is old school with screws. I prefer that.
- Everything just fit how it should
- Mounting the SSD on the floor of the case is perfect

Cons: - Could not slide my extra hard drive in a bay once the heat-sink was set on the CPU. Not a problem now but if I later add some more drives could be annoying to remove the heat-sink to add a hard drive.
