AZZA SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Following the success of Genesis 9000, AZZA offers its value-oriented customers AZZA GT-1, which has most of the features Genesis 9000 provides but with a lower price tag. GT-1 has a removable motherboard tray that can be installed in two opposite directions of your choosing. Placed in the traditional way, the CPU is next to the top fan. Place the motherboard tray in reverse, the ventilator is now in close proximity to the VGA cards. A giant exhaust fan placed next to the hotspot is one feature that helps keep the computer cool locally.

The other attentive features of GT-1 include its capability to house a 480mm water cooling radiator, the longest available in the industry. In fact, this expansive case has enough room for up to three radiators including one 480mm plus another 240mm and a third 120mm. Also, it can hold VGA cards up to 400mm. Maximum compatibility with motherboard allows for installation of XL-ATX, E-ATX, Full ATX, and Micro ATX. It is equipped with five easy swap HDD slots, supporting up to nine 5.25" drive bays. With nine add-on card slots, it is fully capable to accommodate quad-SLI.

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate: TOO MANY PROBLEMS make it not worth the savings or better brands

Pros: Big
Will fit quad sli/crossfire
Fits lots of radiators for liquid cooling

Okay I didn't want to knock it down an egg, but I couldn't take it anymore. The hole behind the motherboard tray that allows you to "easy install" a cpu cooler is improperly positioned. I have tried three different motherboards with 3 different cpu coolers in multiple combinations of one another, and that hold does not allow me to access the top two screw holes. So every time I try to test a new cooler, I have to completely take apart my system to get the motherboard out just to put two screws in the backplate. This wouldn't even be so bad if the specifications on the company's website says that it has an easy install hole just for these purposes. I can't believe I had to take another egg off for this, but the hell it has put me through is unbearable.
First and foremost, the reset button. It drivers me mad. It gets stuck. So you press reset then have to wiggle it a bunch to get it to work. Or it stays locked in and will not reset. That may not be a problem for some, but when you have a new gpu that keeps crashing on you in games (this is not the overclocked one, it's just a faulty gpu) and when you try to reset the pc from a freeze, it just hangs there not wanting to reset, it can make you pretty annoyed. I have tested this will multiple configurations btw, with another case even. It is assuredly the button.

Also, the top cover. While I love the stylish nature of it, it is by far the biggest fault of this case. It limits airflow so much. That is not to say that it stops airflow. Not by any means. In fact the airflow is actually pretty great. But it could be SO MUCH BETTER if this case had a better top cover. And the audio and usb jacks...oh boy. They wiggle around so much that I constantly have to move them because they like to disconnect on me. They do not have a snug connection. Just a loose fit. I originally thought to connect my usb 3.0 hdd to them, but I would feel so scared doing it...since it will randomly disconnect and probably damage from doing so.

I also do not the 230mm fan. Don't misunderstand, I do not mean the fan itself. I mean I do not like the way they put it in the case. They used plastic pushpins. So, when I took it out, they would not go back in. And the nature of the fan do not really accommodate metal screws. SO, since I did not have rubber screws on me, I had to fiddle with some zip-ties to get the thing to lock in. It did, and it works great, but I don't see why that was necessary.

Update: This thing has had parts fail in it about 5 times now (Front audio jack, easyswap tray, rear fan, front usb 3.0 port, hdd tray, etc...). And AZZA support wants me to mail in all of the broken parts, as they continually break. The cost of all of this failed products shipping is not worth the price difference of buying this over a more expensive/sturdy case. Some other notes, I finally got a water cooler in, and the radiator is mounted on top. The air cannot escape from the top, due to case design, so it goes back in the case through the front causing a lot of heat. I have to leave the top of the case loose or drill holes in it for better airflow (both options are terrible). Also, if you use a 480mm radiator, 120mm of it will be completely air restricted as there are no airflow holes for the front of the case. Absolutely awful design. I rescind my recommendation. DO NOT BUY THIS THING!

Other Thoughts: I regret this purchase very much and wish I would have just spent the extra few dollars on something that would not continually break.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredibly spacious

Pros: 9 external drive bays
Reversible like your favorite jacket in elementary school
Ridiculous amount of space (really tall, really wide)
Window is large
Can hold a 480mm, 240mm, 120 mm, and a 140 mm radiator at the same time!
Did I mention massively spacious?

Cons: First one was broken, so I for a return and received a new one fairly quickly
The AZZA symbol is cheap. I took off the plastic covering-like protector and the Z's came off, leaving me with A A.
Pretty heavy. Not really a con per say, but you don't wanna be lugging it around. Trust me.

Other Thoughts: A really spacious system that can take whatever the hell you wanna throw inside it. Multiple radiators, reservoirs, a lot of tube and chord space, can hold up to aa 400mm graphics card I believe and a lot of air pull. Worth th e price for sure. If you receive it broken, just get a second one. If it happens to be messed up too then get a refund by all means, but I'm definitely glad I got a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsThis case is massive, and holds everything. The paint/coating on mine had no blemishes, and the window had no scratches

Pros: Using the included fans still had plenty of room for my 280mm AIO cooler in the top. From three feet away its nearly silent. The airflow it has is plenty enough for my skylake setup with SLI 970. My temps with top mounted rad stay at 65 F idle, full tilt prime95 at half an hour is about 20 degrees over ambient with stock no OC, so I think there is plenty of overhead if your going to OC crazy high. I love the removable filter on the bottom. No dust bunnies for me !

Cons: The latches for the sides were very tight, and I had to wiggle the panel a lot to get it undone. For some this would be a pro, but it makes for a pain if your putting things in/out a lot.

Other Thoughts: Reccomended. The box this comes in is massive, so make sure your shipper has a safe place to leave it.

3 out of 5 eggsFast delivery

Pros: Ordered yesterday.. So extremely fast delivery.

Cons: Haven't opened it yet.. just brought it inside heard some rattling in box hope it's not damaged. FEDEX, this is extremely messed up, been waiting 2 hours since they dropped off the laptop I also purchased yesterday... Had 3 packages from newegg out for delivery today so far I got 2, by chance. First they knock once and leave the laptop on the porch before I can get down the stairs and by the barking dog to the door they're gone! Not cool at all! That was 9am now nearly noon I check my email and see the tracking status "delivered" no one knocked nothing. Anyway I run to check the porch? And this HUGE MASSIVE box is sitting right in the front yard waiting for anyone to just grab it! 2 out of 3 packages so far today. No idea where the next one will be if I even get it!

Other Thoughts: Seriously newegg you need to have a clause that these things must be signed for spent around $1700 here yesterday - it's amazing that my purchases can just be left laying about for anyone walking by to help themselves to!

5 out of 5 eggsMassive. Like, Suitcase massive.

Pros: Large, easy to cool. Surprisingly durable, except for the window on the side. Comes with quite a few fans has a lot of mounting points for more.

Cons: The window on the side came damaged.

Other Thoughts: Yes, I would recommend this product, if your not to attached to the side window.

2 out of 5 eggsMarginal quality

Pros: Price

Cons: The front panel is cheap plastic. It arrived in pieces. The inside material is metal and plastic. I can't recommend this box for a quality build. Materials are cheap and workmanship is questionable.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Large case with plenty of space and plenty of fans.

The window on the left side of the case is nice as my computer sits to the left of my desk and up against a wall so you can't see the right side. This was the only case I could find that had a left side window.

Cons: The overall build quality seems rather cheap.

My case arrived with a bottom-front fan that won't run. One of the molex pins was loose which may be the culprit. The side fan rubbed against the case and I had to take it out and bend the case a little to get it to stop rubbing.

The audio pins on the top of the case are also rather loose and I have to wiggle the plug to find the right spot for it to work.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Looking

Pros: Looks are very unique.
Large size (can also be a con)
plenty of slots for anything I want or need.

Cons: Too large for some situations (see other)
The plastic parts feel quite cheap
No Dust Filters

Other Thoughts: This case was a bit bigger than i had expected. I am not complaining too much because some of the parts I purchased for my build are quite large as well and this case fit them all.
The plastic top has these two parts that look like handles, but there is no way i would trust that flimsy of plastic to carry a full tower computer by.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case - Don't Count On The Rebate

Pros: Great case, super roomy and easy to use. Like the quick swap option, but then it take your USB-3 port on the motherboard.

Cons: I bought the case because it was on sale and a rebate. But don't count on the rebate, I am still waiting but I am not holding my breathe.
