Pros: Micro ATX
Cheap

Cons: Failed after a year. Confusing RMA steps. How do I get a new one? Since it's covered for three years.

1 out of 5 eggsFirst Gigabyte MB and my last one.

Pros: None

Cons: The motherboard failed after one month. I rma'd it to gigabye. They replaced it. The motherboard failed again after 4 months. I had to rma it again. When i got it back, it only lasted one month. This is the third time it has failed in less than one year. Where is the quality with this product? The problem with the motherboard is it will cycle on for a couple of seconds and turn off. It will continue to cycle on and off until you unplug the power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with Snow Leopard

Pros: Small, cost effective, no frills, blue, but above all, has a DSDT on tonymacx86 for a very easy hackintosh install making this board probably the most inexpensive way to run mac OS X on the market today.

Cons: none, but I haven't had it that long or tried any overclocking.

Other Thoughts: With the right video card, setting up Mac OSX on this puppy is a as easy as installing Windows or Linux. The guides out there are so clear and simple a child could do it.

1 out of 5 eggsI am done with Gigabyte MB's

Pros: None

Cons: Bought this to replace a GA-H55m-S2 that went to RMA at Gigabyte. It failed in less that 3 months. Put in the board I got back from RMA, it failed in less than 1 month. Put all components in another 1156 MB, they work fine. I have totally wasted my money, because even if I RMA them, the obviously won't work for very long before failing.

Other Thoughts: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BOARD!!!!!

2 out of 5 eggsFail

Pros: Nice board when it works

Cons: This is the 2nd board to fail on me in a year. They seem to have severe power issues. I know it isn't another component, because I have a replacement MB that is identical and with all the same components it boots fine and power shuts down properly.

Other Thoughts: Not worth fooling with

5 out of 5 eggsAfter 6 months...great

Pros: Good stable board, which is a lot more than I can say about other brands I've tried recently (ASUS). I put a core i3 in. I don't game or anything, I mostly edit photos. I think I should have gotten a little faster CPU in order to really test this board.

Cons: none I can think of

4 out of 5 eggsBasic low cost board

Pros: if you just need a basic board, this works for the price

Cons: No POST speaker included for troubleshooting boot issues! Cutting the corners a little close Gigabyte? -1 egg.

Other Thoughts: Using as server, should have bought the ASUS board with the 4x PCIE slot for SATA card, this board only has 1x...

1 out of 5 eggsGigabyte CS Warning

Pros: NONE

Cons: Also had a problem with 2nd DDR3 riser messed up. Have tried for a week to contact their tech support by email. Try and find them...google couldn't! Apparently a very common problem!

Other Thoughts: Normally have had good luck with gigabyte boards but if this is how their customer service is if you do have a problem...no more Gigabyte products for me. I suggest ASUS or MSI.

3 out of 5 eggsSATA drives

Pros: board works as advertised.

Cons: while the bios recognizes the hard drive no vista drivers are supplied and is not recognized in VISTA even though its set to IDE mode in BIOS. only reason Im running VISTA is due to HP not supplying drivers in WIN7 for my printer.

Other Thoughts: who knew that if the bios supported it, the OS wouldnt. guess I didnt do my due diligence enough when planning.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little board!

Pros: This basic board is a great deal if you want to use a Core i5/i7 without the money it costs for SATA 3 or USB 3. High-quality with lots of BIOS features.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: GIGABYTE makes awesome boards; I've not been disappointed yet!
