5 out of 5 eggsSolid - working well

Pros: - Very happy with the board so far. Solid, no weird boot issues or the like.

Cons: - None that I can find

Other Thoughts: Installed with 32GB, (2) 390x, i7 - worked well until I put into crossfire and put a load on it. In crossfire any decent load rebooted the computer. Found my old COOLMAX CUG-950B couldn't handle it. No clue why. Replace with 1000w SENTEY and the PC is running quite and working flawlessly no matter what I throw at it. I had an ASRock z77 motherboard previously with never worked quite right. only booted successfully 50% of the time. I really like the gigabyte board.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat when working properly

Pros: - Board is nicely laid out and seems to be of high quality. I had no issues getting it up and running and I really like the look of the BIOS.

Cons: - Like others have mentioned I too have developed issues with the on-board audio which was a big reason I picked this particular board. At random times and frequency the audio will get VERY loud and distorted/tinny sounding. The only way to resolve this is to re-start the system. I have been using this board daily for about 2 months and am on the latest BIOS. This issue has been happening more frequently as of late, very frustrating. I was actually coming here to purchase another one of these thinking maybe I just have a bad board but this audio issue seems to be more common than it should be. I guess I will have to stick an external card in and live with that.

Other Thoughts: - Good board with lots of overclocking options but pretty disappointed with the onboard audio issues.

5 out of 5 eggsFIX FOR BOOTLOOP... ALL READ

Pros: Okay i have written a review for this board back in June when i purchased it along with my other parts... I too had bootloop issues.. i couldnt get passed the boot screen and 2 seconds beep, reloaded and beep and repeat..

The solution is easy... If you people would take the time to troubleshoot the problem instead of writing bad reviews and RMA'ing the boards costing you and everyone else money..

Go in into the Bios. Go to the cpu specificly and turn on the cpu's built in gpu.. The problem is intels cpu's that have a gpu built in are conflicting with your deciated graphics card..

Once you turn off the gpu built on the CPU in the bios the problem goes away.. I havent had a boot loop in the last 7 months.. Easy peasy fix....

clearly this isnt a gigabyte or motherboard problem..

Cons: Great audio, great bios features and interface, and awsome looking board... Once you turn off the dedicated GPU on your intel cpu in the bios you shouldnt have a single issue with your board at all

Other Thoughts: no issues so far and i have had the board for 7 months now

1 out of 5 eggsworked well for few months

Pros: Great futures, nice layout, clearly readable bios setup.

Cons: Have had this board for about a year. After 4 months started getting extremely loud noise over speakers and headphones while playing a game or listening to music. Restart usually would solve the problem for few days. Then it started to happen more often, few times a day. Uninstalled and re-installed. That worked for couple days. Called support and was given beta version of BIos. Update bricked the board and had to send it for service. I was extremely detailed with all information I provided to make sure all issues were corrected. Month without my PC and I was a happy camper playing my games yet again. And then it happened again. This time decided to uninstall sound drivers and audio console and go with generic drivers only. I was hoping drivers were the issue. Well, I was wrong as it happened again. I am at the loss as I don't want to be without my PC for another month. I guess Gigabyte is not as good as it used to be. This is my 4th mobo from Gigabyte and first one I am disappointed about. I would expect much better quality from high end board like that and from Gigabyte.

Other Thoughts: Said enough already.

2 out of 5 eggsI presume - corrupted BIOS. Fails to boot.

Pros: Nice looking board. When it works, it works great.

Cons: its terrible. first 'boot loop' happened after approximately 6 months after purchase. it won't even show me booting code on the DigInd. its just flashing for a half a second and try reboot again. but I deal with it. occasionally the board was work a couple of weeks without any problems, sometimes only an day. but now MOBO practically dead. BIOS not save setting and I have to reset BIOS many times (by the CMOS switch) before it decide to work.

Other Thoughts: I gonna give a two star instead of one because at least she was worked fine before and it just poor quality of production. Not even an year, she still looking like new and not dusty, but DEAD.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good

Pros: - Gorgeous-looking board
- Cool on-board LED along the audio side of the board
- Working great for me so far
- UEFI is easy to use but powerful

Cons: - Non-standard width ATX board, so you can only secure it with 6 standoffs as opposed to the usual 9, so be careful plugging in the 24-pin power
- Only 3 fan headers, and all three are on the lower half of the board, making it difficult to connect any fans at the top of your case
- Included software disc is worthless

5 out of 5 eggsG1.Sniper Z97

Pros: Gold plated everything... Nice looking board with premium Sound Blaster audio. Fast ethernet. Supports 32Gb of memory. Solid performance at a good price. Lots of tweaks in the bios.

Cons: Lots of tweaks in the bios can get novices in trouble... You have to read the manual when connecting audio devices, or you will end up with external speakers on the headphone jack? Manual is not very good at showing the audio connections...

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very happy with this board. Gigabyte has made quality boards for many years and this one is not disappointing me.
