2 out of 5 eggsShort L!fE Sp@n

Pros: Used this in a build about 2+/- years ago.
Was awesome.

Cons: Short life span. Slowly died on me. I did what I could to keep it running. Hardware changes , OS installs , yada yada.
It finally died on me today while watching a DVD movie.
During the movie , today , there were multiple memory crashes.
Machine locked up , and wouldn't reboot. Not putting anymore time or money into this.

Other Thoughts: R.I.P my pr3cious Biostar 880G+.
If I were Biostar , I would make sure I didn't make this MOBO available anymore. I'm kind of skeptical about buying from them again.

1 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLE! GOT 3 DOA!

Pros: Red matches my G.Skill memory. Nothing else!

Cons: I bought this board to use my old X2 240 Regor cpu in a HTPC I built for fun. Received the board and it was DOA so I RMA'd it and got a replacement. The 2nd and 3rd replacement boards were also DOA. I started to think it was another component so I tested everything else and it all tested good and the 4th board I received finally worked. I loaded Windows on it and put the HTPC in my closet until I got a new TV with HDMI ports so I can actually use it. It has been about a year now and I got the HTPC off the shelf in my closet to hook up to my new TV. I tested it before hooking up to my TV with my monitor and black screen. It doesn't work from just sitting in my closet. This is a junk board and I regret ever trying Biostar!

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD!

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Company

Pros: None

Cons: This board does not hold bios settings. Did an RMA, biostar returned the same bad board back to me. All these years later and the same issue. This company sucks, their tech support is stupid.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy another biostar product again!

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Decent Mobo

Pros: Works as advertised and hasn't caused me any issues.

- Great board for the price
- Has all the basic features you'd need if you are buying large RAM modules and not planning to set up dual video cards
- Have had this for over a year now and had zero issues.

Cons: Obviously, this is very much a budget board, so you can't expect much. I won't take off any eggs because I definitely knew what I was getting and got what I paid for, but here are the cons:

- Only 2 RAM slots (not too much of an issue if you get 2x4GB or better)
- Only one PCIe slot (again, not an issue unless you're hoping to run SLi/Crossfire)

Other Thoughts: You can't really expect anything more for a $50 micro ATX board.

5 out of 5 eggs3 in service, no problems

Pros: I bought my first of these in 2010, then two more in 2011. I have windows 7 32-bit, Win 7 64-bit, and Windows XP running on the three system respectively. They are all going strong.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBiostar is SOLID

Pros: Inexpensive, extremely stable, unlocked my triplle core X455 processor in about 2 seconds-now it's a quad, onboard graphics more than sufficient, onboard sound also more than acceptable, great value for an all around budget/performance workhorse computer

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: been using Biostar for years and never been disappointed...the Chevy of motherboards (gets the job done without the hype)

4 out of 5 eggsNo Overclocking ?

Pros: -Cheap
-Stable
-Supports AMD Phenom II x6 CPU's
-Small (Even smaller then a normal Micro ATX Mobo)
-BIOunlocking

Cons: -Being a gigabyte owner I decided to buy a Biostar MOBO for a change and I do not no if I can over clock it or where to over clock. I have been going around the BIOS and I can not find it for the life of me!
-Only Supports 8GB of ram (But that's all I need)

Other Thoughts: Solid Motherboard and solid performance. I coupled this motherboard with a Radeon HD 6770 (Which i am upgrading to a HD 6870) and 6GB ddr3 1333MHz Ram and a AMD Phenom II x4 955. It works great for the price but if you want more then 8GB of ram, Over clocking features and crossfire supports spend another 50 dollars and go with ASUS or GIGABYTE. Other than that it works great!

5 out of 5 eggsA good little board

Pros: I've been using this board in an HTPC for a few months now and it works very well. I'm running Openelec as my media center OS but I've had Ubuntu 12.04 on there without any problems as well. The board didn't have any problems recognizing any hardware.

Cons: Didn't come with an I/O backplate when I got it, but I can't say I was upset by that. Was confused more than anything else since I can't say that's ever happened to me before. Newegg was quick to work with me on the issue.

BIOS also doesn't have as many options as some of the other boards I've used. It doesn't have the option to power up from USB when the system is completely shut down. It's not a huge issue, but something to consider if you're using it on an HTPC as you'll have to get up to turn the system on rather than using a remote to power it up. Not a huge issue though, so I'm not removing any eggs.

Other Thoughts: It's a good motherboard for a good price. I'm considering buying another for a second PC as soon as Newegg gets more in stock.
