5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: I Used this thing in my old computer and gave it away with that computer to my teenage son..
I took the build apart and had him put it together so he could start building machines of his own.. (without potentially costing me alot of money..)
He plays all of his steam games with it now.. Counter Strike, DayZ, and others and he gets good frame rates and decent settings medium range paired with an old Core2 Q6600 and 4 GB of DDR2 running at 800MHZ.. This thing still runs and is still quite relevant.. Very good buy.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I bought this originally to replace an old Radeon 4870 that died..
That 4870 was LOUD LOUD LOUD..
So the fanless design was a big draw for me after spending about 3 years listening to jet engines when I game..
Also wanted to mention that I got Planetside 2 to run at good frame rates on high settings.. Can't say enough good things about this one.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card, bad software bug

Pros: Card itself is great! High FPS on games and great benchmark results. Very quiet with no fan, I absolutely love it. Couldn't ask for better value for price.

Cons: The catalyst software is bugged when trying to install it on windows 7 32 or 64 bit. Google "catalyst software install blue screen of death" What basically happens is that if you try to install the catalyst software, it'll blue screen when in the "detecting hardware" phase. Initially this happened to me on a computer which I had Nvidia drivers previously. I removed those and tried installing again, no luck. So I reinstalled windows 7 64bit, and still no luck. So I tried installing windows 7 32 bit, again no luck. I found a few workarounds online including patching the installer and a bunch of other ridiculously complicated stuff. I also tried installing in safe mode and a bunch of other things. I spent HOURS on this. I have never had ANY trouble with an Nvidia installer. Anyway, after frantically googling around, I finally found a solution. I've posted it in the space below.

Other Thoughts: Find the setup.exe that you need to run, on the disk mine was in a folder called windows7vista8 or something similar. If you downloaded the newest drivers (which I also tried and I suggest you do), simply extract the package that you downloaded and find that folder. In those folders there will be a folder called "config." In that folder there will be a file named InstallManager.cfg. Open that file with notepad and change this line "WorkaroundInstall=false" to "WorkaroundInstall=true." Save the file, go up a folder and run setup.exe. I have NO idea why this works, and the site that I found it on also has no explanation. I hope this helps someone, because it sure took me forever to find a solution.

5 out of 5 eggs"now I'm a believer"

Pros: I've built a lot of non-gamer systems and the graphics were always the bottleneck, even in a system with a pretty cheap processor and a 7200 rpm HDD. I am finally seeing the light and buying a decent dedicated GPU instead of relying on APU's, which, in their own right, are superb. I now have a WEI for graphics and gaming graphics both at 7.1 (December, 2013). I don't use this card enough to need a GPU cooler, so of course I like how it's silent, as well.

Cons: None to speak of

4 out of 5 eggsGood for X-Plane

Pros: Works good for X-Plane, following their instructions on adjusting raster options I can get good quality video and still maintain 25-30 fps.

Cons: Covers up my only PCIE-X1 slot on my mini ATX board so can't use my USB 3 adapter card :( Should have got the low-profile version.

Other Thoughts: Easy install and setup.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: -Plays Battlefield 4 and COD Ghosts.
-Manages heat really well as long as you have proper case airflow.
-The price is right.

Cons: -Won't handle most current games and some older ones on any higher than low settings but I knew this going into the purchase.

Other Thoughts: Excellent card for a budget build, will let you play modern games and is a hell of allot cheaper than a R9 card.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Low price
- Silent
- Dual Graphics
- Can run recent games on med-high with very good FPS

Cons: - The shield of the card was a little big and would not fit into my tower slot, I had to bend metal and force it in. Partly my fault for buying a cheap case.

There is no free Dirt 3.

Other Thoughts: Bought this card mainly so I can use it for dual graphics with an a10-5800k. Benchmarks showed a 30-40% increase in performance with dual graphics.

This is a good choice for a casual gamer on a tight budget. Your computer case should have good airflow for this card.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's not a very expensive card for what you get and has been reliable to me, it's super quite and I get around 100 fps on league of legends with it.

Cons: The drivers are a bit outdated for some recent games such as Blacklight Retribution.

Other Thoughts: This card is good for average games, I can play AC: Black Flag on it with medium settings and have minimal lag. It can handle a good amount of things for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid, quiet, inexpensive

Pros: As it has no fan, it runs silently, and with its large heatsink, it still stays plenty cool enough. Great value for the price.

Cons: Not as powerful or good looking as any 7000 series model (obviously), can't run most recent games at more than medium quality.
