1 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: This card is great for it's power for it's price range.

Cons: It has this issue when you run newer games in Fullscreen of down throttling it's power causing the games to crash and go into a sound loop and black out the screen. The card has a lot of potential and even trying some work arounds this card still has issues. Pay the extra money and get the nvidia equivalent. It was promising but updates are lacking For this known issue.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible

Pros: What a great purchase. I got this last black friday and I'm still super happy with my purchase. I'm seriously about to order another one to be honest I really like that I can throw most things at this and not get hurt with FPS.

Cons: I don't have a second one.

Other Thoughts: Great card, will purchase again.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: Runs fast and quiet on stock settings. I don't OC so I like factory OC video cards when I upgrade for a little extra boost. My motherboard is an older Asus P5E, and it runs this just fine with NO problems whatsoever.

Cons: It's discontinued. In the future if I ever want to do a match crossfire set, I will have to purchase a used one and hope it's the same model, but I know it doesn't have to match with it being crossfire.

Other Thoughts: Still working great after 2 months of daily gamer use for 4-5 hours a day.

4 out of 5 eggsStrong, minus the random black screens.

Pros: Cheaper than Nvidia
It will run Battlefield 3 and Far Cry 3 on ultra at ~52 fps with my amd fx-8150.
Stays relatively cool and isn't as noisy as I thought it would be.

Cons: From the box I've been seeing random black screens during gameplay. These only happen about 1-3 times a day and they only last about 2-5 seconds but it's enough to warrant an issue. I've read it's a simple driver issue and if that is the case I would like to see a patch.

Other Thoughts: This card sold like it was made of gold and I was fortunate to buy it up before it was discontinued. I've been overall happy with its performance but I am beginning to think I shouldn't have allowed myself to fall for the hype.

Pros: Lower price point than Nvidia

Good specs

Installed without issue

Cons: After one month, decided to start having issues that included spiking, flicker and black screens.

Sapphire support sent me to third-party for replacement and they are charging 15 dollars each way.

1 out of 5 eggsAnnoyance black screening

Pros: Graphics are nice and run smooth when it wants to.

Cons: Black screen 1 month after I got it. Started when I got back into playing LoL and now it does it while playing WoW. Not worth the investment one bit.

1 out of 5 eggsnot good for gaming

Pros: graphics look really good.

Cons: causes continual crashes playing SC2.

Other Thoughts: Tried a million troubleshoots and nothing has worked. Avoid this graphics card if you don't want a 10% loss handicap playing SC2 :)

4 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good...

Pros: It plays just about everything I throw at it on max, keeps very low temps even under load.

Cons: Loud, no other way to describe it then loud.

I don't know if it's just the natural sound of the fans or if there might be an issue, but... loud.

Other Thoughts: I had a sapphire card before this and they kind of jerked me around on the warranty, since it died about a week before said warranty ran out -- just played games until it was too late, but the card had been rock solid reliable until then.

I decided to give sapphire another shot with this one, so I hope it works out for me. As the title says, so far, so good...

Did I mention it's pretty loud?

Manufacturer Response:

Your graphics card should not be loud.

Your replacement should not have this issue.
