3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was a mediocre card-even when it was new

Cons: It was one of 2 components that fell victim to a cheap psu in a secondary desktop. Luckily that was after it got pushed out of my main computer by the 4670 (which has been decommissioned to a secondary computer now also)

Other Thoughts: Pushed dual screen and thats about it...the 4670 that replaced it blew it out of the water in performance.

1 out of 5 eggsdisappointed with TV-out

Pros: easy installation

Cons: no way to connect tv (component video) to s-video out (mdin7) on card. bummer. seems to me the description misrepresented the product.

Other Thoughts: gigabyte shows image of a converter device in its web site; however, i cannot find anyone selling the device.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Video card

Pros: Good price for a card, Not the best, but works great. Installation was a snap, driver install was uneventful. Not great for high intensity gaming, but works .
Does what its supposed to do. Bought this as a cheap replacement for a dead Ati x600pro. Very similar performance.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installed in = Intel P4 3.2 /Intel D915PBL motherboard.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after 2 years

Pros: Worked quite well without any problems for 2 years. Easy to install and had no driver issues what so ever.

Cons: Runs a bit hot, which is to be expected for a card without forced cooling.
Card was never used for game play, system was used for video production, IE video playback in multiple formats. Lately system started random reboot (W/O error events logged in event viewer) when viewing video in media player classic. (when moving video window or resizing) Error was traced to video card, and stopped when replaced. Card is now been RMAed to gigabyte :/

4 out of 5 eggssurprisingly capable for the price/age

Pros: 1080p h.264 playback is smooth and flawless. can handle tons of games, even fairly recent ones, at 1280x1024 with AA off at ~60-75fps. turning AA on or moving up to a high res such as 1920x1080 will drop to ~30-35fps. still very playable

Cons: passive cooling so it runs hotter than most. mine will idle as high as 60c if the air condition in the house is off. still surprisingly OCable though

Other Thoughts: I read other reviews where the s-video adapter was NOT shipped with the product as it shouldve been, and as it turns out neither was mine

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Bought this card so my son could play Flight Simulator X. Worked in Windows XP after putting in the drive. Also works in Ubuntu 9 right out of the box (dual boot). His flight simulator game works great and Linux is happy too.
Only takes one slot and the computer is still running cool. I do have an exhaust fan that sits right above the card which is probably helping.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Seems to be a great card for the price. I've only had it for a week, but so far so good.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good budget card.

Pros: Takes up only one slot!! Inexpensive but still good build quality. Fanless with a clever heathsink design that keeps the card at a reasonable temperature for a fanless card. Works perfectly and smoothly on Debian GNU/Linux (kernel 2.6.32-10-amd64) with nvidia glx and vdpau drivers (190.53-2). Good performance with video and technical 3D graphics (not tested with games).

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the price

Pros: Really, truly, takes up only one slot. Works with Linux. Supports Twin View. Fanless. VDPAU. Cheap. Overclocks like a champ. Has s-video tv-out

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Finally, a fanless video card that REALLY only takes up one slot (think microatx) and plays well with linux. I was getting frustrated with all of these single-slot but with wide heatsink cards that took up too much spce. The latest Nvidia driver from their website supports overscan (fit on tv screen). nvclock utility overclocks by 25%

3 out of 5 eggsmeh...

Pros: better than integrated graphics, pretty cheap compared to an ati 5870, comes overclocked and doesnt have a fan

Cons: windows aero and game performance not very good (but not too bad for a 40 dollar card)
