Based on the NVIDIA's latest 28nm Kepler architecture, the MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC video card is built around 960 CUDA cores and 2GB/192-bit GDDR5 memory, and features 1098MHz Boost Clock - 65MHz high than reference to deliver more juice for smoother, more responsive gameplay. It supports the full range of GTX 600 series technologies including GPU Boost, Adaptive Vsync, PhysX, 3D Vision, and triple-display 3D surround gaming with a 4th accessory display to bring you to a new era of entertainment.

The new card boasts the popular Twin Frozr III cooling design with dual 8cm fans with Propeller Blade technology, nickel-plated copper base, and Superpipe technology. The MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr GPU temperature runs 19? lower than the reference board and noise is reduced by 12.9dB to deliver the best thermal and noise performance. All solid capacitors ensure 10 years ultra long lifetime, lower temperature and higher efficiency and the aluminum core prevents explosion under extreme condition. The GTX 660 Twin Frozr also supports the Afterburner overclocking utility, making it simple to adjust the graphic card's power and timing for even more performance. With support for NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround and a maximum of 4 display outputs on a single card, users will be able to enjoy the ultimate in gaming and multi-tasking.

  • newegg Twin Frozr III Runs 19? Cooler and 12.9dB Softer than the Reference The MSI Twin Frozr III cooling design has continued to win the praise of the industry media. The exclusive Propeller Blade technology features unique air channels on the fan edges to boost cooling performance by increasing the cooling area and providing 20% more air flow compared to conventional fans. When the MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr graphics card has a full load, the GPU temperature is 19? lower than the reference board and fan noise is 12.9dB softer. The combination of lower temperatures and reduced noise proves once again that MSI products deliver the best user experience!
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg Single Card 3D Vision Surround Support Apart from supporting the latest DirectX 11 technology, MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr can use 3D Vision Surround technology to set up a 3-display 3D surround environment with just one graphics card. With high-quality 3D displays and 3D glasses, this allows gamers to enjoy the amazing visuals in 3D games and movies. Up to 4 display outputs are supported on one single card, allowing gamers to take full advantage of multiple displays and multi-tasking while gaming.
  • newegg MSI Solid Capacitor Graphic Card MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC video card utilities high quality solid capacitors. For the gamers and high-end users, this feature not only means that product has better quality components within, but also provide much stronger support while users want to engage in hard-core tuning.
  • newegg Support for MSI's Exclusive Afterburner Overclocking Utility The MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr graphics card supports NVIDIA GPU Boost technology to achieve optimal gaming performance through dynamic management of operating frequency. When used in conjunction with MSI's exclusive Afterburner overclocking utility, gamers can customize the power and timing to maximize the overclocking potential. Afterburner also supports free Predator video capture, remote monitoring of desktop graphics card from smart phones, and one-touch burn-in and special effects testing with Kombustor, making it an indispensable graphics card overclocking utility for enthusiasts.

5 out of 5 eggsMmmm, Nvidia goodness!

Pros: Loving this graphics card so far. It has run every game I have tried with it so far smooth as butter. No problems from it at all. It is very compatible with my ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard as well. The driver from NVidia's website seems 100% stable so far. MSI afterburner(this card comes with it one the utilities disc) is great and lets you monitor and control everything. The fans on this card are not very loud at all, even when turned up high.

Cons: Nothing bad to report. Love this card.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: -Quiet. I turned up the fan speed to about 70% manually one time and barely heard it. Runs cool at 40% and completely silent.
-Runs very cool. It has been hot here in MO a few days and I think I got it up to 60ish Celsius playing Arkham City.
-Looks awesome
-Shorter than my old GTX 260, which gave me more room in my case

Cons: -None so far.

Other Thoughts: Did my first build 4 years ago, went with a gtx 260 black edition back then that brought me nicely into the modern era of gaming. This was my replacement and it is awesome. I've been playing Mass Effect 3 with maxed out settings at a solid 60 fps. Borderlands 2 stays at or above 40 fps with maxed out graphics and physx, and I only have a phenom ii 965 black with a mild overclock, which I suspect would be the bottleneck to this sweet card.

5 out of 5 eggsPrice and Performance meets.

Pros: A great match for where performance and price meet. This card handles everything thrown at it in terms of gaming, from WoW to Stalker to Metro Last Light on high and ultra settings without dropping below 40 fps. I upgraded from a 7750 and am glad I did. It's like a new machine again.

Installation was a breeze, plugged it in, installed the driver disk, then went to the website and made sure I had the most current updates, all this in about 30 min.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a great card on a budget, plus getting Metro Last Light free with the purchase was just icing on the cake.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!!!

Pros: Plays all my games set to max or nearly max at 1080p, running my built in fps monitor from afterburner.

Metro Last Light
Quality Very high
Advanced PhysX On
Tessellation High
SSAA None although I do use nvidia's control panel to ssaa 4x.
Adaptive V-sync
And I can tell you that I get no less then 40fps at high ssao scenes.
Have another one on order for sli, can not wait!!!

Cons: None, and I'm not giving -1 egg for a mfg rebate like some people. You people annoy me giving a an unjust rating for a rebate though the mfg...

5 out of 5 eggsbuy it already

Pros: -MSI, they don't mess around when it comes to what they put their name on
-battlefield 3 ultra, around 50 degrees, 0 sound from the card., using 2 displays at 1080p....so yeah, it will run whatever is thrown at it
-price,,,was $194 with the new metro game for free

Cons: -not a fan of nvidia's display setup menus, I actually prefer amd's catalyst controller setup.
-this is my 2nd geforce card while owning its amd counterpart, I still see the amd's showing better results overall, and they come with a better overall game bundle.

5 out of 5 eggsVery solid video card

Pros: Great price, solid construction, overclocked and runs cool

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I picked this up to run in SLI with an EVGA GTX660 SC. They really run well together. The OC speed are very close. The MSI runs much cooler that the EVGA although the MSI dumps its heat inside the case.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Card works perfectly. Right out of the box it was easy to install and started gaming right away! It runs games on ultra easily such as battlefield 3.

I was at first worried about not being able to use it because i only have a 460w power supply when the card needs a minimum of 450w. And yet the card still runs games on very high settings. I didnt overclock it yet because im going to probably need a better power supply.

Cons: Non really just some of the information in the msi booklet about how you need a 550w powersupply and yet i have a 460w and im doing fine. Other than that everything is GREAT!

Other Thoughts: I suggest this card to everyone who wants a low budget card. Also don't rely on the rebate card, it is confusing to understand and takes up to 8-10 weeks for you to get your rebate...

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic value

Pros: For $195 you'd be hard pressed to find a better card right now. I'm on a single monitor and it can play any current game on max settings at 1900x1200 with ease. Very cool due to the dual fan design. Already overclocked. You can buy two of these for less than the price of one entry-level GTX 680 and have considerably more performance.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My build:
Intel Core i5-3570K
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 660 OC
Crucial M4 256GB
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB 1600Mhz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
EVGA SuperNOVA 650W
Corsair Vengeance C70 Green
