2 out of 5 eggswork well until

Pros: For the price this was a great little card with low power consumption, and fan less.

Cons: Started having weird graphic glitches out of no where, trying to play videos would crash programs. eventually lost picture all together . After only about 4-5 months of use.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for MythTV box

Pros: Good, inexpensive card for viewing HD content from my MythTV box. HDMI port is great, runs just fine and loaded into Linux with basically no changes.

1 out of 5 eggsDid not work for my old set-up, however...

Pros: May be good for some motherboards but not mine.

Cons: Would not work on Dell g45a01 mainboard

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of this cards but both cards did not work, so I maybe it was a bad g45a01 mainboard?

5 out of 5 eggsGood Graphics for my rig

Pros: Bought this card to replace on board Intel Q45 Ex.hardware.

I am not a bleeding edge gamer, the newest game I run is Skyrim. Before this game was all jerky and not smooth.
Now I can use most of the graphics and game play is smooth.
Installation was straight forward.
Installed in a HP desktop 3.0 GHz w/8 G ram.
no sound driver issues.
This system only has a 325W PSupply but it runs 3 SATA HDs and an HP DvD RAM optical drive with this card.
So far very pleased with the product and the price.
It works for me in this mid level work and gaming PC.

Cons: None to date

5 out of 5 eggsGood, Simple gfx card.

Pros: Needed this card for a dual monitor setup for my workstation. Works well and Windows 7 recognized it and installed drivers right away. Not having a fan is nice, too, if you don't need it. It generates no noise. Graphics are responsive and clear with Visual Studio 2013 and Expression Blend. Solid little card if you want to have a simple dual monitor set up for a workstation or something.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Beautiful graphics. I particularly liked the control panel option to fine tune the actual desktop size when connected via HDMI to a digital television.

Windows 7 recognized right away. Drivers installed with no problems whatsoever.

Cons: Well, none, as long as you don't mind NOT HAVING AUDIO. This card inserts its own digital audio drivers to embed in the HDMI signal and turns off the onboard audio.

Some fixes involved resetting your bios audio to "enabled" but this does not work on an Intel DG965WH board. I had to remove the board and go back to onboard video to restore my analog audio output. Too bad, too. I liked the card. Drove me crazy though until I finally gave up.

Other Thoughts: Before buying this card, do some googling to see if you'll be able to restore your onboard audio (if you use it). Otherwise, you'll be stuck with HDMI audio only.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome for my purposes

Pros: this card plugged right into the refurbished Dell Optiplex 755 I bought here. I loaded the software and I was up and running within 5 minutes. it supports dual monitor use with independent resolution settings for each monitor. great value in my opinion.

Cons: none that I'm aware of

Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer so I can't attest to how this will work in gaming machines. probably not well. but for a simple work station, internet surfing, music listening, downloading machine, it's a great value.
