5 out of 5 eggsIf you still need PCI....

Pros: There is still alot of server and industrial equipment in service out there that only have PCI slots but really need a little graphics boost and/or some hdmi/dvi connectivity for matrix/kvm/monitor upgrades or reconfigures, but there is basically no selection of PCI cards to choose from. This one did the trick and works great, no driver conflicts and has been powered on and running since it was installed a year ago now.

Obviously it's no Titan Black, but it defiantly was a massive improvement over the onboard graphics. As replacing servers or control equipment isn't always feasible like buying a new home pc is..

low power draw, working fine in 1u machine with only 270w psu.

Cons: none really.

Other Thoughts: a 1gb version would have been nice.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgrades old computer to HTPC

Pros: I bought it because the old computer only has PCI ports. It works great. I use OpenELEC NFS on it and video card plays blu rays just fine.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsNot quite ready for prime time

Pros: PCI card with a somewhat modern GPU that's actually available.

Gave one egg just for that.

Cons: Worked sometimes, but horribly. Between BSODs, it would show the screen with tons of artifacts, garbled graphics, or sometimes just nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: Not for lack of trying, initially bought to use side-by-side with a PCIe G210 so I could add a third monitor on my 6 core AMD machine. I pulled the card and tried on another motherboard (intel, fresh win7 install) and the card exhibited the same issues, when I actually got it to run. Downloaded newest drivers from nVidia. For now, I'm just gonna try my luck with using the PCIe G210 and the IGP side by side.
