5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!

Pros: I have been a gamer for many years, using a lot of Nvidia cards. When I heard about the specs for the HD 7990 and how it's optimized for all kinds of games, I knew I had to buy it. For only $600 it was an insanely good deal, and I was already running an AMD Vishera 8-core, so I thought why not?

The actual card is quite heavy-duty and looks incredibly bada*s in the case. It's about a foot long, so a large case is a must. The 8-game bundle worked fine with no problems and the games it comes with (such as Tomb Raider and Crysis 3) are very fun.

The performance is just awesome. I am able to get 120+ fps in BF4 on Ultra 1440p and 300+ in Starcraft 2 on Extreme 1440p. It can handle every game I throw at it and never lags. The games feel very lifelike.

If I could buy another card, I would definitely take this over a GTX 690. Games with intense graphics feel smoother and the rendering feels cleaner. A must-have GPU for any hardcore gamer!

Cons: It's rather loud. Not as loud as some GTX 770s I've used, but still loud. Since I wear headphones it isn't a problem for me, but people with speakers may dislike it. (It is only loud in-game.)

Also, there is some frame stutter with 60hz monitors. When I switched to 120hz, nearly all of the frame stutter was eliminated.

5 out of 5 eggsawsome card

Pros: Card is now $600 bucks. Mine is made by sapphire and the 8 free games deal lasts until December. This card runs BF4 on all ultra at 1080 and im getting and average of around 120 fps! I didnt think it would be that fast but it is! About to play Crysis 3 maxed out as well.

Cons: nothin so far, only owned it for a week, no problems with noise or anything.

Other Thoughts: my system:
Intel i7-4770k
MSI mother board
Trident X g skill ram 8 G 2400mhz
1000w kingston power supply
HD 7990 video card.
SSD kingston

4 out of 5 eggsWelcome improvement

Pros: This card has ran all recent games at max settings (BF4, Crysis 3, Assassins Creed, ect) with 60 - 100 FPS in the most strenuous situations. Also, it seems the Frame Pacing issue has been fixed as far as the 10.11 Catalyst drivers go. I have had no issues in any games so far DX9, DX10, DX11.

Cons: Two things.

- Length of the card, longest card i have ever seen, and probably will see. Make sure you have room. I had to relocate a fan because of my laziness, but worth it.

- Hot. This card runs hot, however, i keep my room chilled at around 64 degrees (window unit thank the Lord). The numerous fans help keep the temperatures acceptable.

In conclusion, just make sure you have a rig that can handle the length / size of this card, it's massive, and the heat is significant. That's also what she said ;)

Other Thoughts: This card is 100% worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsBlazing Fast Card

Pros: 1 - Extremely fast. Plays Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4 maxed out at 1080p with 60+ FPS!
2 - Comes with a really good fan!
3 - 8 good games if you don't already have them.
4 - Always had great customer service from Sapphire so I've been buying their cards for years
5 - High quality parts

Cons: 1 - The card I got had pretty loud coil whine. While this didn't bother me because I wear a headset, it could bother people with speaker setups.

Other Thoughts: The card runs hot if you don't adjust the fan speeds, but the fan is so quite compared to most cards these days that you can turn it up and it's not very audible. I never got over 75c in games with the fans at 75%.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid performance, no need for an RMA that I can tell and the heat seems to be staying at relatively low levels for other makes of the Radeon HD 7990. Running many of the newer games on Max settings at FPS that are often beating my monitor's refresh rate, all in all it's a top end card and worth every dollar if you can afford it.

Cons: A 7990 is still a high temperature card, You'll want to know this and plan for it if you're building a unit with one/two or you'll run into issues. Not worth an egg as I was well aware of this issue beforehand but do keep it in mind.

Other Thoughts: Radeon HD 7990's definitely run hot, you'll either want liquid cooling or a large case with plenty of air flow to help keep them cool. Running your unit in a room that's below 70F helps to keep the temperature of the card much lower as well. If you're planning on crossfiring two of them you'll want to have liquid cooling or side mounted fans blowing cool air directly over them or you'll never be able to pull out the full performance of all 4 cores.

4 out of 5 eggsBeast mode

Pros: This card is awesome. I can run bf3 on ultra with 90-115 fps. Everything I've thrown at this card makes it run sick. I've tried three different 7990's and this one is the best by far. The first 7990 I had was a gigabyte which bottle necked all my games. The second 7990 I had was the HIS that one kept not responding in windows. They save the best for last this Sapphire runs awesome! No problems whatsoever. Can't wait for BF4 to come out so I can get mad fps on ultra with this card.

Cons: Be prepared to have a well ventilated case. This card runs uber hot. With my case closed I'm getting in between 81-85C and with my case open with a fan blowing at it i'm getting in between 71-73C. Only problem I have with this card is how hot it gets. If it would've not have ran so hot this would've gotten 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen!

5 out of 5 eggsThis Card Rocks

Pros: This card runs Battlefield 4 Beta at about 75 fps with the un optimized code of the game i expect it to get more when the full game is released

Cons: It will get hot if you do not set a user defined fan profile Use MSI afterburner
after setting the fan profile it never gets over 50 C with room temp of 70 F on any game i have played

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Raw power - it allows you to run all games at max settings. I'm running a 27in 1440p resolution monitor and figured at that resolution I may have some FPS drops, but it's just not happening.

I've updated to the latest drivers and have no micro-stutter. I also have no coil whine. I heard a lot about both of these issues, but I haven't experienced it. If you have the latest frame pacing drivers it shouldn't be an issue.

Cons: Size - if you read the description before hand you know how large it is, so not really a con.

Heat - Make sure you have a well ventilated case. Remember, this is two GPU's on one card.

Other Thoughts: At $599 it is the best move I have ever made techwise.

1 out of 5 eggsNot at all what I was expecting...

Pros: Card looks appealing.
Great advertising.

Cons: Where do I start? It is true that I have not owned this card long, but it only takes a minute of playing games on this card to be disappointed. Almost every game that I have played on this card have performed sub-par. AMD has brought out there new driver to try and remedy the issues this frame pacing, but I cant even walk 10 feet in a FPS without having the game stutter like crazy. Far Cry 3 is an amazing game, but this card has a terrible time trying to play it at even high settings. Even World of Warcraft only gets between 50-65 FPS.. I went from having two AMD HD 6870s in crossfire config in my computer to one 7990. My 6870s in crossfire were running a majority of my games at high-max settings just as well if not better than what this card does. I have been in the AMD market for a while and i have never been let down by AMD before, but this card fell WAY short in my experience with it. I feel like i've been cheated out of a lot of money and i will more than likely not buy another high end AMD card if this is what their market has come to. I just dont understand how "the fastest GPU in the world" can be so terrible. Did i miss something here? Ive even tried turning off the frame pacing option in the 13.10 driver i have installed to no avail. I still get the terrible video stutter and screen tearing like crazy! I will not recommend this card to anyone! I just hope that AMD can redeem themselves withe the upcoming 9XXX series, although i wont be able to afford one because i put money into this huge piece of garbage. If AMD wants to redeem itself they can give me my money back (fat chance of that happening). Save yourself the troubles of owning this card and look elsewhere.

1 out of 5 eggsWorse Experience In 10 years of Gaming

Pros: None. 8 free games is a lie and support sucks.

Cons: Card can't run 144hz with the Asus VG248QE Monitor for some reason. I sent back the card and they told me to send it with the original box because the card was defective and they confirmed on their side it was. So they sent me a replacement with just a plain box with in a plain box. So I issue an RMA to get the original box it came with and they said 3-5 days until it ships. So I put in the new replaced card and I get the same issue. I attempt anything on 144hz I blue screen and a lot of games get fps spikes.

Other Thoughts: Don't get this video card. I go to Radeon cards after not using them for 4 years and this happens. I really regret going to this card and I wish I spent the extra $300 on the 690. If you get this card you will really regret it trust me.
