A brand new non modular power supply now comes to expand the NZXT HALE82 series. It is designed for PC enthusiast and gamers. 2013 ErP Lot 6 Energy Star standard (the latest standard) compliance reduces vampire power by 50% for lower energy consumption while 80Plus Bronze certification ensures up to 85% power efficiency. A strong single +12V rail powers up high-end graphic cards without brown-out. Performance is only part of the story. HALE82-N’s internal board possesses a stylish white and black interior design for better isolation and identification. The intelligent fan speed control is ideal for users that operate in silent or performance modes. Available in 3 different wattages: 550 to 750watts to meet any mid to high PC configurations.

Cons: The motherboard I was using didn't like this PSU. The EVGA Z68 FTW kept getting Code 'C' which means there wasn't enough power to the CPU. Had to RMA the mobo just to get the same code on a board that works. Might be something with the 12V rails but it didnt work for my mobo. Other Thoughts: I didn't want to RMA the PSU because I just RMA'd my mobo that took 3 weeks due to the holidays and I needed my computer for work. Cons: The details page doesnt tell the dimensions of the PSU so i had to spend a few hours looking all other the web for them, didnt find them so i had to take a leap of faith on this one, my case doesnt have that much space so i needed the exact dimensions. Other Thoughts: I havent received it yet, i just wanted to point out how the dimensions are missing, this might be important to people with tight spaces who need to know the perfect dimensions. It provides plenty of juice at efficient voltages. Long cables - no problem reaching bottom mount PSU to 8-pin MB and 24 pin MB connections in a mid-tower case. Cons: Look at the pictures and decide if it's for you. If you don't have a full tower case or plenty of space for cable management, you will have difficulty with cable management. The sheer number of connections is astounding - just wow! - where to hide all these wires?? Other Thoughts: I did my research before hand. The internals are built by Seasonic. This PSU and the Corsair TX750 core edition V2 have the same internals. I used it to overclock my FX-6300 with no voltage issues. No eggs off for the cabling - I knew what I was getting into before hand. Bought this on sale for a budget build. It's not modular and I didn't expect it to be. NZXT made a great PSU. I now have a very reliable power supply that I can depend on. This power supply comes with a five year warrany. Also, they will cover the cost for return shipping if it quits working for five years. It's a good power supply, with a large enough fan to move air at the same time as being quiet. Cons: Be wary of the rebate. Buy it on the assumption that you will not receive the rebate. I've been waiting nearly 4 months and I sent an e-mail to the company regarding the current status, aside from the site stated "Approved" status. No response from the company.
