Pros: This has worked perfect for me. I use it with windows and linux. It is very nice since it does not require an additional power supply to power it. Very portable and SMALL, just what I was looking for at an amazing price.

Cons: When I woke up the next morning after buying this it did not have breakfast waiting for me, other than that none.

Good Looking and Reasonably Priced

Pros: Works as advertised. Very slim & elegant form-factor. No none-sense design. Fit and finish is better than I expected (except for screw-hole).

Cons: The pre-drilled screw hole is misaligned on one side. Seems to me a common issue. Regardless, just using one-screw is sufficient to hold the cover closed. Moreover, the quality of the fit & finish of everything else out-weighs the small flaw.

Other Thoughts: Would be nicer if the included sleeve was of better quality (like neoprene instead of vinyl). Overall, the enclosure is better than I expected. Perfect for imaging your laptop hard drive.

Pros: It works.
It runs cool.
Two USB ports, one for extra power if needed.

Cons: Doesn't afford much shock protection.
A little finicky to assemble.

Other Thoughts: I had a drive I wanted to access, so I bought this. It works as a standalone HD dock or you can put the drive in the metal case.

Hard Drive Did not fit into enclosure

Pros: The plug and play feature for WinXP was easy as pie. It worked effortlessly as if adding another external hard drive. And for the price it saved me hundred of dollars from other options in obtaining the information from the hard drive.

Cons: The Hard drive did not fit into the case for the enclosure. The product worked/ let me access the harddrive without requiring me to insert the hard drive. I did notice some extra attachment to my dell hard drive, maybe I could remove that and try to insert it, but I did not have a 6 sided star tool to remove the screws. So at this point the product is useless, and at this price a return was not an option.

Other Thoughts: price was great!

suprisingly nice

Pros: Wow, for 10 bucks this is awesome. Was easy to put together, everything fits in snug. Feels pretty solid. All my screws fit fine.

Cons: Directions for assembling it would have been nice.

Other Thoughts: The big screw go with the drive, the little screws hold the plastic cap on the end of the enclosure.
