4 out of 5 eggsdoes the job.

Pros: over all solid build, with a low price tag (rebates and promo codes)

Cons: Lacking in 4pin Molex. Just one cable with 2 (maybe 3) connector. For the average PC these days no big deal but in my situation it was a pain. have to buy or find an adapter.

Not modular

At non-sale price, might want to spend a bit more and get something else.

Other Thoughts: Over all for the sale price, hard to beat, i've gotten 3 Rosewill PSU's in the past few years and they're all still running

System this is in is an AMD1090t, OCZ SSD, WD 1TB black, Radeon 6870 in a HAF XB

4 out of 5 eggsLots and lots of plugs.

Pros: Is it just me, Or is Rosewill really pumping out alot of decent products now-a-days? Anyways, I like it! And this PSU is no exception.

Like the title says, This thing has alot of plugs, A nice sleek black color, Lots of plugs, Very quiet fan, Lots of plugs, Pretty cool black mesh around the cables, Oh.. And lots of plugs! Which is just awesome, Not complaining at all.

Cons: The way the wires came wrapped up and tied were very, very awkward.. And they're stuck in a very awkward shape due to it sitting for so long, It makes it a little hard to play with while inside your case.

Other Thoughts: .... It's got alot of plugs =3

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product! 2+ months strong

Pros: I may not be a verified owner, but that's because I'm not using my dad's account, he's the one who purchased it for me. And its a fantastic value Power Supply.

Pros: It's a Rosewill. It's 700w at a fantastic price. Can be used for SLI or Crossfire. Has lots of connectors. Has a 120mm fan. Cables are sleaved. It's black so it blends in well and looks nice in my case. Reliable.

Cons: I have no complaints other than these, and these aren't really complaints, because for the price I can put up with these little quirks.

Cons:

Not good for a silent machine, if you want silence or you have your PC on your desktop (and if your case has an open slot near the side of the PSU) it is slightly on the loud side if you're a stickler. Can't complain though because I wasn't expecting quiet and it fits my needs.

Too many connectors cause a slight bulge on the side of my case, I wish it could be semi modular. I don't know why company's charge an arm n' a leg for a modular PSU. I guess I'll have to buy a rosewill case in the future to better fit excess wires ;)

Not 80+ certified, but I knew that going into this deal

Weird metal smell after removing it from box. But that faded away after a day's use...

Other Thoughts: I recommend this PSU to anyone on a budget building their first PC. It provides enough room for upgrades while keeping the sleek look. As long as you don't plan to run a super PC with this thing, you'll be fine. It ran my GTS 450 SLI just fine. I am a loyal rosewill fan, they did a fantastic job with this budget PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsGood power supply

Pros: . Good power output
. Solid build
. Quiet performance with big 14cm fan
. Professional look

Cons: Wish it is a modular power supply, since it comes with a little too many long cables.

Other Thoughts: Get this unit when it was on big promo. It replaces the power in my i7 gig. It is running for 72 hours without any problem so far.
I do not mind to buy another one, even this unit is not on promotion- a great 700W power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: None

Cons: Stopped working after a little over a month of usage; when trying to turn on the computer with this power supply in it, the computer just shuts off because of this faulty power suppply.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Please check the following

1. Do the paper clip test on the power supply itself to ensure it is defective.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of garbage

Pros: None.

Cons: I finally got most of the parts of the PC I'm building together with everything hooked up. I checked four times to make sure all connections were right. I thought it would be a good idea to test the setup before I took the final step of installing the liquid cooler and fan for my CPU. So, I made one more check of all the connections, plugged the power cord into to PSU and connected it to a wall plug; attached the DVI cord to the video card and to the monitor. Took a deep breath and pushed the PSU power button. Nothing. Turned everything off, rechecked all the connections. Plugged the PSU into another wall plug and tried it again. Still nothing except the case fans that are connected to the mobo turned a few weak rotations and a couple of leds came on. PSU's fan didn't rotate even a little and no sound. This PSU is DOA and a piece of garbage.

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy and Quiet

Pros: Has a ton of connections. Runs so quiet I cannot even tell the fan is spinning. Very solid design.

Cons: A little heavy, but when offering 700w it probably should be. Besides, how often are you going to be carrying this thing around? The 8 pin wiring is a little short, but I made it work (my case, interestingly enough, is a Rosewill Redbone which is a bottom mount so I had to stretch it all the way across my mobo to hook it up).

Other Thoughts: I got it when it was on sale so a very good deal for me. There were other 700w PSUs out there for less money, but this one had the best reviews. I have learned (the hard way) that sometimes you need to listen to those reviews. Sometimes spending that extra $10 will save you a ton of problems later on.
