1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Ample amount of cables included.

Cons: Didn't last a day of use.

Other Thoughts: After reading some many good reviews, I was expecting it to be high quality. It turned out it didn't even last a day of use. Returned it and getting a new PSU. Hoping the next one is better than this.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Very quiet. Very powerful.
Plenty of cords for everything I needed.

Cons: A little long, was hard getting my SSD plugged into the Motherboard, without taking the PSU out, but, no biggie.

Other Thoughts: Solid PSU. If you're looking for a good PSU in the 150-200 range, spend a few extra and get this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: This is my first EVGA PSU, I must admit I am very impressed with the quality of their products. I will buy more EVGA items in the future.

-Full Modular: Only use the cables you need
-Cables are durable, but easily bendable for wire routing/hiding
-Solid Construction: Housing is heavy duty steel, not thin or flimsy
-One massive Single 12Volt Rail
-80 Plus Platinum Rating
-Decent Price for Wattage and Efficiency Rating
-Heavy: a sign of Quality Construction and Materials

Cons: I do not know if this is due to voltage and/or resistance limitations but the PCI-E 8-pin cables are single ended. Meaning one cable for one 8-pin plug. The 6-pin PCI-E cables had two connectors, meaning one 6-pin cable will power (2) connectors on a video card, where the 8-pin does not. Not really a con, but for my (2) GTX 980's I had to run FOUR cables to meet their power needs. Either way the set up still looks nice.

Other Thoughts: CPU: Intel i7-5930k
MB: ASRock X99X Killer Fatal1ty
RAM: GSkill RipJaws (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2666Mhz
GPU: (2) MSI Gaming Edition GTX 980's - SLI
PSU: EVGA 1000P2 - 1000Watt Full-Modular, 80 Platinum
Boot Disk: Crucial Ultra M.2 512GB SSD

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PS for high end workstation

Pros: Plenty of long cables for large builds * Quiet * Lots of power to spare

Cons: Can't think of any problems so far.

Other Thoughts: It's nice to have a bag to keep extra modular cables, but it's weird that the power supply itself also comes in a separate fabric bag. Like I'm going to store it somewhere outside of the computer when I'm not using it?

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA Supernova 1000 P2

Pros: Very powerful, well sleeved, very efficient, looks good, reeks of quality

Cons: The heat shrink on the cables is pretty ugly, and I'm not a huge fan of the red PCI-E cables.

Other Thoughts: I would love if EVGA gave the option to buy their individually sleeved cables instead of the stock ones, but oh well.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperNOVA 1000

Pros: Excellent quiet power supply. Love the fully modular braided cable system. Even the packing had exceptional levels of quality. The 1000 watts and the 83A rail make my new system run absolutely perfect. Works great with the power hungry 295x2 ;)

Cons: A bit long, but that was expected for this type of psu

Other Thoughts: Drips of quality. Highly recommended

5 out of 5 eggsSolid, Powerful, Small, Quiet.

Pros: This is powering my first X99 rig in an Asus X99-E WS with i7-5960x cpu. I cannot hear the PSU at boot time or under load, even over a pretty quiet liquid-cooling radiator and fan assembly. I have never been able to hear the PSU while stress-testing.

Cons: No serious cons.

The unit comes with 24-pin motherboard power cable and two ATX power cables, but this motherboard actually accepts a third ATX cable near the start of the PCI-E slots for extra smooth and plentiful graphics power. It would be great if this top-of-the-line PSU came with that extra cable because it will frequently be purchased for that type of scenario.

Though in all honesty I don't need to connect that until someday I'm at 3x SLI or more and by then I would have sized up the PSU another step.

Other Thoughts: This SuperNova 1000 is powering my first X99 / Haswell-E rig with an i7-5960X -- and overclocking this 8-core cpu has been smooth and easy from the start. I may have a lucky chip from a good batch, but the power supply definitely gets a good helping of credit for making this as easy as possible.

I have not received the dual GTX 970s for SLI yet and there's still only three drives plugged in so I'm still very far below the power headroom of this PSU. But eventually I'll be in 2X SLI and that should be fine. I would not try for 3X without stepping up to 1.2 or 1.3 kilowatt.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: All the cables that I needed to build my PC
it runs perfect and super quite

Cons: non so far

Other Thoughts: I bought it from the US but I live in Europe, long story short, while I was building my PC I thought the fan wasn't working, because it is that quite, anyway I did a mistake and I thought it was the power supply that had the problem, when I call the techs they told me I can RMA it in Europe. Of course I didn't have to because the power supply works perfect. It was my mistake because my tech level is poor.
For me this is VERY good customer service, unlike other companies that don't RMA that easy or not at all to a different continent.
That only will make me a returned customer over and over again.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 10 months

Pros: Great while it was running. Good fit in my case. plenty of cables etc. etc. etc.

Cons: But, yesterday exactly 10 months after I bought it, it died. No warning, no smoke, no fire, just dead.
