5 out of 5 eggsVery much worth it

Pros: -Very low price
-Very low power consumption
-Retail warranty.

As long as you appropriately match your expectations to this unit's abilities, you will not be sorry.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm using this as the center of a low-cost Windows Server 2008 setup to handle DHCP, DNS, and file/print sharing at home, and it's more than up to the challenge. The low power usage ensures there's no detectable fan noise.

5 out of 5 eggsgood and cheap

Pros: For the price you can't loose if your just piecing together a basic no-frills computer. I bought this for my daughter to get on the internet and play her pre-school games. not much else to say. It's all good in the hizzy.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: As an entry level CPU the results are surprising.

Newegg + AMD + BIOSTAR = superior service, quality and value

Cons: None, AMD better by design.

Other Thoughts: Value for the dollar is excellent. Usually a start-up CPU on BIOSTAR builds, to update BIOS. I misplaced 64X2 AMD for the final build and had use it to set up Windows 7 in a TA780G M2+...With 4GB Ram achieved a 3.2 on Aero Graphics... CPU 4.2..gaming graphics 4.6

4 out of 5 eggsI gues I got the last one

Pros: AMD LE 1250 it cheap it slow it works with vista. Had this put into a motherboard ECS 8200A with 2GB of Kingston 800DDR2 memory rams at 6CL should have gotten 2 more 1GB memory for it to be alittle more speed stable. This single core runs at 800HT at 366.3MHZ dual channel memory bus speed controller. I overclock the CPU to 220 FSB hit 880HT at 2.420GHZ 403mhz memory speed x2 = 806DDR2. the CPU runs at 55F with a quad core stock cooler from AMD.My room temp is 75f no clue how much more room to overclock on this CPU.it is 45W! This computer is for a outdoor security cam computer system.

Cons: Should have at least have a 1000HT at 400mhz memory x2 = 800mhz it not worth the speed at 800HT i think that what make it alittle slow. The stock cooler is so cheap just a alumum sink with a small fan on it with no heatpipes.

Other Thoughts: It a Ok CPU not bad. sould have been alittle faster for it price. At 1.8 GHZ or 2.0GHZ AMD Athlon single core with 2000HT seam alot more powerful compare to this.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, basic, cool single core cpu

Pros: I bought it with a bundle, and essential got the cpu for free. I have been playing with it for a week and a half, and have no real complaints. I use it in a basic media streaming/decoding server, and it does fine. It keeps cool, is quiet, and with the basic board and memory, I have at about a 10% overclock. Really, I cannot ask much more for the price paid.

Cons: Again, I can list things here (like the fast that I get stuttering if I try to multitask anything heave at once, or that fact that it has no L3 cache, or the fact that it does not do hardware virtualization, or the fact that it does not have an unlocked multiplier or . . . .). But, again, my number one concern here was price. Close second was keeping that box cool while function. Next was sound. Anything else, and I think it would have been reasonable to pay more. If one accepts that it is a basic proc for very little money, then I think five eggs are appropriate.

Other Thoughts: I thought long and hard about getting this and a basic board, or getting an Atoms 330 and board. I think this is currently a better choice for a media server. It does stuttering on trying to do two cpu intensive things at once, but I think the max clock speed of the Atoms is still a bit too low for media decoding (unless the GPU can do almost all of it). It also helps with other cpu-intesive, no-parallel (at least the way this vendor implemented it) tasks like virus scanning. Would it have been better to pay twice as much for twice the proc--well, maybe. But I really have no need for it, and the combo deal was killer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great CPU. Chuggs right along - great for a computer for basic web browsing, aim, e-mail and the occasional office document. I was surprised at the speed (but then again, I am using linux), and the extremely low power consumption was a plus. Excellent budget CPU for basic tasks.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Does exactly what I wanted it to do and does it well. Fantastic!

5 out of 5 eggsSurprised

Pros: Runs Vista smoothly with only 1 gig of ram. Runs cool and its cheap.

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: I was very surprised how well this processor worked. I bought it for a gpu fah rig and it works perfectly for this setup.

5 out of 5 eggsCompletely Underrated

Pros: Cheap
Lower Power Consumption
Overclocks to 3ghz with stock voltage, stock cooling and cheap asrock microATX board

Cons: Single Core

Other Thoughts: This and 4 gigabytes of RAM will make any dual core run for its money. Easily overclocked to 3ghz for below 40 bones, what's not to love?
